Щодо перекладів

Привіт! Дякую дуже за переклад свіжих наразі Новин Вікімедіа. Перекладачів, які не забувають заглядати сюди, не зовсім достатньо . Може, захочеш дописатися у перекладацьку команду?.. Хоча це насправді дрібниця для галочки ))
Але мені здалося, що тобі бракує розуміння того, що таке Фонд Вікімедіа, що таке FDC і подібне. Раджу проглянути статті і два словники вікімедійних термінів: English-Ukrainian Wikimedia Glossary і Glossary (хоч обидва й досі чернетки). Зверни увагу, що на цьому сайті часто розділяють вікіпедистів і вікімедійців (Wikipedians & Wikimedians), тож і в перекладі це враховується.

Легше перекласти з англійської на українську, а з неї на російську, ніж два рази перекладати з англійської.

The problem is, if your bot will do sometimes more edits, it can happen that your bot will be blocked, because your bot is not approved. --Udo T. (talk) 13:38, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi Tohaomg, because your bot is not approved in German Wiktionary and the bot also tries to change user pages, I have now blocked the bot. The bot also tries to change user pages, see de:wikt:Spezial:Missbrauchsfilter-Logbuch. User pages are not changed by bots in German Wiktionary, unless there is a formal vote on it. TohaomgBot on pt wiki

Hello there, your bot has been blocked on pt.wp, so please make a flag request on pt:WP:BOT/PA. I know it's hard to make local requests, but it's a needed formality. According to local policy, the bot edit summary must contain "BOT:", and edits have a limit of 6 edits per minute, those are the things you should pay some attention, as far as i can see in a quick test. @Yerpo:, I have read that serbian and slovenian are lexically very close, so since I already have a serbian translation, I thought it would be better for slwiki than english. But if you provide a slovenian translation, I will put it into the code.

About the bot flag, unlike in ptwiki, my bot does not make a lot of edits in slwiki. So, I think, if it is just fulfilling the request and waiting several days, without any test runs, discussions, interviews, etc, I can do it. TohaomgBot on Hungarian Wikipedia

Hi Tohaomg! I've seen your bot's contributions on huWiki. An editor has asked "trusted user" right for your bot to we don't have to check its edits every time (bot not a "bot right" to we could see the replacements on our watchlists). Could you put this Hungarian translation of summary into the code? I can't translate word by word, because most of the editors won't know what raster means, therefore I choose the following: Kép(ek) cseréje SVG-formátumú változatra – Change picture(s) to SVG format version. I think it should be better that you request a bot flag in our wiki, seeing that its doing a good work for us, so that it does not clutter recent changes too much if you plan to continue its activity there. Getting started on Phabricator

New Tech Ambassadors Phabricator board

User script to access other watchlists

Hi Tohaomg,

If you remember, you participated in the 2019 Community Wishlist Survey, including the discussion for reviving "Crosswatch" to allow for cross-wiki watchlists (Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Watchlists/Revive Crosswatch tool).

I sent you this MassMessage because I wanted to let you know that I have made a user script to make accessing your watchlists on different wikis easier, since for now that wishlist item has not been actioned.

The way it works is that, on any wiki, when you look at your watchlist, there is a button labeled "CA" that takes you to the CentralAuth page for you. There, when looking at your own information, each link to a wiki ("meta.wikimedia.org", "www.wikidata.org", "de.wikipedia.org", etc.) is changed so that it links to your watchlist on that wiki.

If you are interested in using it, just add mw.loader.load('//meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript'); to your global javascript page. This imports the code at m:User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js.

Community Wishlist Survey 2020 needs translations

Hello!

I'm contacting you because you've already translated some messages for the Community Wishlist Survey. We need more translations for the 2020 edition, to create a survey that would serve as many users as we know.

The list below shows our needs by order of importance (most important first):

1. The invitation sent to communities. It summarizes the process. We plan to distribute it soon on this year target wikis. The more translations we have, the better!
2. The form for non-English speakers. Anyone should be able to add their wish, no matter which language they speak. Translating this short form is very important to encourage diversity and equity.
3. The survey itself, where the entire process is described.
4. The preload form, that provides more context on existing wishes.

Some languages are already covered (maybe by you), but some messages have been updated, and there is always some room for reviewing and polishing messages.

Thank you in advance for your help! This survey can't be successful without your assistance. :)

We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.

Для цього треба до сторінки обговорення статті Intellias додати {{Редагування від оплачуваного редактора|користувач=<виконавець замовлення>|роботодавець=<посередник>|замовник=<замовник>}}, де замість <замовник>, <виконавець замовлення> і <посередник> написати, відповідно, хто замовив редагування до статті, хто їх виконав, і за посередництва кого це відбулося. --TohaomgTohaomg (talk) 09:58, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
