Hi Kizule,
I am reaching out to you because you signed up to receive updates about the Global Wikimedia survey.[1]

We will be hosting a public event online to present the data, a few examples on how teams will be using it for annual planning, and what are next steps for this project. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 10, at 9:00 am PST (1600 UTC), and the presentation will be in English. You can watch the livestream here, and ask question via IRC on #wikimedia-office.

If you are unable attend, you can also find the report on meta, and watch the recording of the event at a later time.

We hope to have you join us online! -- María Cruz 23:28, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

Please translate the Editing newsletterEdit

Would you please translate VisualEditor/Newsletter/2019/July into your favorite language for me? I'd really appreciate it. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 17:30, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Can you make a small fix on a translation?Edit

You have recently helped to translate an announcement in Serbian. Thank you for your help!

We have added a date to the text, and we need your help to review it. I should literally take you one minute to change the translation.

Sorry for this last minute request, and thank you for your help!

Story points in PhabricatorEdit

I saw you asked.

This is briefly documented on mw:Team_Practices_Group/Glossary#Story_points and was briefly discussed at mw:Phabricator/February_2016_upgrade#What_will_our_norms_be_around_Story_Points_on_all_tasks?. It usually matters only for the individual team, see for instance mw:VisualEditor/Backlog_design#Story_points.

If you need to know more, it's probably best to ask on the specific team page's talk. Nemo 07:49, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

I think that you need to take some time to educate yourself about the value of blocking IPs, and IP ranges, etc. prior to reacting like you did in SRG to an LTA. In the end you are making yourself a target of an LTA (feeding the troll) rather than providing useful solutions to the community. A noisy LTA is so very "so what?", our management should not be excessive to the nuisance value.  — billinghurst sDrewth 10:20, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Wikimedia CEE Online Meeting 2020 registrationEdit

Dear Zoran,

Thank you for your interest in attending the Wikimedia CEE Online Meeting 2020. Now that you have signed up by adding your username to the list of interested participants, please note that it is required to confirm your registration and get your ticket for free on the Eventbrite page. This is important because it would ease communication with participants in a safe way.

Best regards. --Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 17:59, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

@Kiril Simeonovski: Hello, how I can confirm my registration? I took the ticket on before few minutes. :) Best regards, Kizule (talk) 18:21, 24 September 2020 (UTC).

About marking a page for translationEdit

Hello Kizule, You have massively marked pages for translation. I would like to thank you for that because the backlog was huge! However you don’t seem to have checked additions before marking them for translation. As translation admins, we should ensure text complies with internationalization guidelines so pages are easily translatable. Regards, Pols12 (talk) 15:07, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Wednesday July 28: Wikispore Day UnconferenceEdit

Wikispore Day 0, the picnic that partially inspired Wikispore.
Wikispore Day 1, last year

The second anniversary of Wikispore Day, observed on July 28, 2020, marks twenty-four months from the conceptual sprouting of the Wikispore idea from the Strategy Wiknic in NYC, which was held on July 14, 2019.

You are invited to participate in a virtual unconference for this year!

Wednesday July 28:

  • 12:002:00 pm (New York City time)
  • (16:00–18:00 UTC/GMT, 18:00–20:00 Berlin)
  • Social Hour

Since Wikispore is probably the only Wikimedia project to be born at a picnic, you are encouraged to participate from a socially-distanced green space outdooors if possible.

GIPBE removalEdit

Hello Kizule, based on the indefinite block placed on you by English Wikipedia, I decided to remove your GIPBE flag, because having a global block exemption is not compatible with being (indefinitely) blocked on an well-estabilished wiki. Thank you for your understanding, Martin Urbanec (talk) 20:27, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
