The TWUG on space.wmflabs.orgEdit
Hello TaronjaSatsuma
A few months ago, WMF opened a new discussion space. Since our user group has some difficulties to communicate (not everyone sees the messages that are posted on Talk:Wiktionary/Tremendous_Wiktionary_User_Group), I asked for a dedicated forum for the TWUG to be opened. It's happening here (there is no topic so far).
From now on, I invite you to follow the category to be informed as soon as a new topic is created. Pamputt (talk) 18:47, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
Invitation to affiliate members to complete a survey about WMF wide Universal Code of ConductEdit
Hello; My name is Mervat, and I am helping the Trust and Safety team to reach out to affiliates in order to discuss the Universal Code of Conduct.
There has been talks about the need for a global set of conduct rules in different communities over time, and finally, Wikimedia Foundation Board announced a Community Culture Statement, enacting new standards to address harassment and promote inclusivity across projects.Since the universal code of conduct that will be a binding minimum set of standards across all Wikimedia projects, will apply to all of us, staff and volunteers alike, all around the globe, and will impact our work as groups, individuals and projects, it’s of great importance that we all participate in expressing our opinions and thoughts about UCoC, its nature, what we think it should cover or include and what it shouldn’t include; how it may develop, drawback or help our groups. This is the time to talk about it. As you are a valuable contributor to the Wikimedia movement, your voice counts. Before starting to draft the code of conduct, we would like to hear from you; We invite you to devote some minutes to take this survey; your answers will help us create a safer environment for all on Wikimedia:
(English) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd36dNdU3C5shXEkKp9itJOhuCTx9hZE5AE-xflkxtfRMnZtg/viewform?usp=pp_url (Spanish): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczplOUFD8MXf7hBBd6kuELGF4sOGyqnXwbrWHg3yP9JK3Cgg/viewform?usp=pp_url (Catalan): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf3qw4EJlFKDh8hpKfgkmLXJnlS30vSwWAlExQ-W9zTmdFMgg/viewform?usp=pp_url
It’s possible that you are a member of more than one affiliate; hence you may receive this survey more than once, and you may have participated previously in the discussions or filled out a previous survey during the first round of consultations about UCoC which targeted wikipedia/wikimedia communities. We apologize for this; it is really difficult to identify if a wikimedian belongs to multiple groups that work to spread free knowledge. Looking forward to your thoughts and opinions and hoping that you can respond within the next 2 weeks. If you have any questions about the surveys or difficulties accessing the link, please contact me by email (msalman-ctr@wikimedia.org)Results will be considered during the drafting process for the UCoCThank you for your participation

Pilot Enrollment: Equity Landscape Metrics & DashboardEdit
Hi @TaronjaSatsuma:
Thank you for your interest in piloting the Wikimedia Movement Data Landscape dashboard and metrics. Through this small pilot we will be completing pre-beta testing of these new metrics and tool functions. We intend to gather feedback from community stakeholders on the data elements and dashboard functions for improvements before launching an initial public dashboard. In order to proceed, we must ensure that all pilot participants meet each of the eligibility requirements:
- Have an applicable use case during the pilot period (February - March 2022),
- Commit to engage during the pilot period, and
- Agree to sign a data non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for early data access.
If you meet these requirements, you are now invited to next steps for enrolling in the pilot. In order to help us align virtual sessions with your use case interests and to send you the required NDA, we need you to complete a google survey to share your contact details. Use of the data collected by this survey form will be governed by our published privacy statement. Please complete the survey at your earliest convenience, and before the end of day January 23, 2022 to ensure needed turn-around time for the pilot’s start in February. Please also note that we will not be able to associate contact information shared via the google survey with your username we are communicating through here, so we will not be able to know if you have signed up and will switch to contacting pilot participants via the email they share in that survey submission. Thus there will not be further reminders beyond a note at the start of the meta consultation period in February. If you run into any challenges, please message us back, here on your talk page, so that we might assist you. Once again, we thank you for your time and participation. -- NaRay (WMF) (talk) 23:27, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
Please, change your profile page (removing Amical's logo)!Edit
On behalf on Amical's Board, I ask you, as mentioned yesterday during our videocall and not applied yet, to remove Amical's logo from your userpage, since it is misleading in the fact that you are not Amical, nor a current member of Amical's Board.
