Maithili Wikimedians Mission 10

Hello,

Did you know...?
Maithili Wikimedians volunteer members has taken a challenge in itself i.e. Mission 10. The focus and aim of the challenge is to complete 10,000 articles on Maithili Wikipedia before the end of this year 2016. As of November 30, 5,555 articles were made on Maithili Wikipedia. From the 1^st of December until the 31^st of December the challenge will run on Maithili Wikipedia. The challenge is divided on 2 basic parts Online and Offline events. The online event is focused on creating articles and offline parts is about meeting with Maithili speakers from different parts of Nepal. Hi, I'm from Bengali Wikipedia. You recently globally blocked user:MdaNoman. Just now i got a mail from the user and he said his account isn't compromised, while he is having adda his his friends, a friend of his took his phone and for fun, made request on "Steward requests/Global permissions".

As far i saw, as a new user he showed good understanding and made good contribution on bnwiki. I didn't see anything suspicious on bnwiki, i believe him. My request would be to unblock him but final decision is yours. or should i ask him to create a new account (since he isn't block for sock)?

about Taichi

hi BRP, what happens is that, when I made the first request to unlock my account, they deleted it, that's right, they didn't tell me if it had been accepted or rejected, as I thought it wasn't going to be reviewed, so I used an IP to go back to request to unlock my account again, but, Taichi deleted it, saying that the first request had been rejected, and it is sabotage, but since I made the first request until the second, they hadn't told me anything, so, yes, then I got angry with him and then I responded aggressively, but now I want to apologize to Taichi for having responded like that, I would have responded more calmly, but even asking for my apologies, he reports me from crosswiki harassment, as if he thinks i deserve to be blocked, instead of kindly accepting them or not, I just want to collaborate, that I vandalized, that's true, but I don't want to vandalize again, what's more, I want to add a template on Wikipedia, so that anyone doesn't get blocked stupidly like me, but since I'm blocked, then I can't 190.109.15.35 02:36, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

Global lock question

Hi BRPever, Hope you're well, Quick question, In regards to my Premanidhi report - I don't suppose you'd have any idea as to why the report sat there for so long?,
Had you not come along it (and others) would appear to have been declined and I can't figure out why ? - In my case a few of Premanidhi's accounts were globally locked so wouldn't it make sense to do the rest ?,
I just can't fathom out why the near-declination if his others were globally locked ?,

Hi @Davey2010. Sorry, I was busy this weekend so couldn't respond quicker. If his other accounts are locked, it is unlikely that the request would be declined without a good reason. SRG is usually backlogged so some requests might take longer than others. It usually depends on the need for action; if it's ongoing abuse and there is urgent need, it will be processed quicker. The other factors are probably simplicity of the case and clarity of report. For urgent request, I recommend using IRC. Thanks, BRP ^ever 08:57, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

I did not see that you have resigned as a Steward earlier at SRP so I decided to leave you a short note of appreciation for your excellent work on your Talk page.
