- Personal info: I offer myself to continue in the role of steward. My work in the past year has continued in anti-vandalism, long term abuse and spam management; in writing and responding to our highly effective spam filters; other tools available for spam tracking; working on the stewards' OTRS queue and within Steward requests, and working cooperatively with checkusers through the projects. I attended WM2014 and participated in numbers of events related to stewardry, adminship and development of tools for the future, I participated in the broader activity space of stewards in the open wiki and in confidential discussions. [A truly useful and rewarding excursion.] I heeded the commentary of 2014, and kept it in mind as I performed duties in 2014. I continue to edit regularly as a standard contributor on numbers of wikis, and to participate in community and bug discussions with that editor/participant hat on. I have taken to a little coding within limitations and running a bot or two. I continue as a highly active and contributing member of the community. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:52, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

— billinghurst sDrewth 11:52, 15 januari 2015 (UTC)

- Remove due to his overuse of steward privileges to perform non-emergency suppressions on Commons in a situation where local oversighters were available and his inability to admit to having made a mistake. odder (talk) 18:53, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, I have issues with that too, but for different reasons: while it is technically allowed per the CU and OS policies in cross-wiki cases (though very few stewards actually use that provision), this was done on one of his "home wikis". --Rschen7754 18:59, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- If that is true, you said he oversteps, then why is it, on other wiki's he says it's not his responsibility to do anything. Sidelight12 (talk) 04:02, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- It is true that he has the most actions of any steward in history. However, I think that over the years, this fact has changed Billinghurst's attitude, and lately I have seen too many cases where they have forced their own way of doing things and interpretations of policy on others and acted like they are the only steward whose opinion matters, on list, on IRC, and onwiki. Often, they have been rude about it as well, not only to other stewards but to other trusted members of the community. There is a reason why there is more than one elected steward, and it has to do with more than dividing the workload. Remove --Rschen7754 18:59, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
