Welcome!

Hi there! Welcome to my user page. I'm known as "Thehelpfulone" on all public Wikimedia projects. I've been a member of the Wikimedia Community since November 2007, where I started off as an editor on the English Wikipedia and became an administrator there in November 2008.

I'm active here on Meta-Wiki as an translation administrator, administrator and bureaucrat. Through these roles I have helped to manage the steward elections in 2012 and 2013, co-ordinated numerous translation requests using the Translate extension and know a fair bit about the CentralNotice interface. In 2013, I helped to organise and co-ordinate translations for the 2013 Wikimedia Foundation elections and was a member of the bidding and organising team for Wikimania 2014 in London. I have a number of other roles within the projects, including editing wikimediafoundation.org and replying to emails from the public and improving recruitment pages for prospective volunteers as an OTRS agent. I am also an administrator of Wikimedia's Bugzilla installation, administrate our mailing lists and am pretty good at finding bugs almost anything.
