Personal info: I was elected a steward in 2007. Since then my main focus of steward activities changed a couple of times. I still help fight some long-time vandals and be available for various tasks (like serving in the ElectCom again) but I am now more focused on outreach of the stewards. I am one of the co-organizers of the Wikimedia Stewards User Group which I helped set up, and I co-organized one of the Spaces at Wikimania about “Thriving in Safety”—a topic which will become even more relevant in the future in company with the WMF. I do support the group with my good contacts to the Wikimedia Foundation. All in all, I still enjoy playing a part in the stewards group although I am not anymore one of their most active members and I would like to provide my service once again. Informationen zur Person: Im Jahr 2007 wurde ich zum Steward gewählt. Seitdem hat sich mein Schwerpunkt in den Stewardaktivitäten mehrmals geändert. Ich bin immer noch dabei, gegen einige Langzeitvandalen vorzugehen und für unterschiedliche Aufgaben verfügbar zu sein (wie bspw. erneut im ElectCom mich zu engagieren). Mein Schwerpunkt liegt aber aktuell auf der Außendarstellung der Stewards. So bin ich einer der Mitverantwortlichen der Wikimedia Stewards User Group, bei deren Gründung ich mitgeholfen habe, und habe darüber hinaus den Wikimania-Space zum Thema „Thriving in Safety“ – einem Thema, das in Zukunft zusammen mit der WMF noch wichtiger wird. I unterstütze die Gruppe dabei mit meinen guten Kontakten zur Wikimedia Foundation. Unterm Strich macht es mir noch immer Freude, meinen Teil zur Stewardgruppe beizutragen, auch wenn ich nicht mehr eines der aktivsten Mitglieder bin. Daher möchte ich erneut meine Unterstützung anbieten und danke im Voraus für das Feedback.
