The proposed naming poll opened a few days ago and you can vote for as many of the proposed names as you wish, if you are eligible. Please see Travel Guide/Naming Process for full details on voting eligibility and how the final name will be selected. Voting will last for 14 days, and will terminate on 16 October at 06:59:59 UTC.

Thanks, Thehelpfulone 21:51, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

It needs to begin with "/**", not "**". If there's anything wrong with my version of Twinkle, please let me know. Maybe localization? PiRSquared17 (talk) 20:46, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

fixed. Thanks,--DangSunM (talk) 23:39, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Superprotect statusEdit

Dear 분당선M, since you are an administrator on a wiki from which no user participated in this discussion, I'd like to make sure you are aware of some recent events which may alter what the Wikimedia Foundation lets you do on your wiki: Superprotect.

Hi there, I've just closed your request as successful and granted you the right. Take care! -Barras talk 21:14, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Global user page migrationEdit

Hello 분당선M. I deleted your local user pages on all wikis as you requested via Synchbot. You can see the full log on your archive page. :) —Pathoschild 04:55, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for work:)--DangSunM (talk) 18:43, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Updated scriptsEdit

Hi 분당선M. I edited your global.js to update you to the latest version of force ltr, which is compatible with the latest MediaWiki changes and resides on the Wikimedia Tool Labs for easier updates. (I noticed force ltr was disabled, so I left the new version disabled too.) I also updated various deprecated functions. Let me know if anything breaks. :) —Pathoschild 04:59, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

No renaming between November 20 and November 27Edit

You’re getting this because you’re a steward or global renamer. The Community Tech team are working on cross-wiki watchlists. We need to add a couple of fields to the localuser table in centralauth database. In order to be able to do this, we’d need to run a script that will get in the way of renaming users. Our apologies – we realize this is getting in the way of your work.

We ask that you do not rename anyone between 00:00 November 20 (UTC) and 00:00 November 27 (UTC).

(UTC means that if you live in the Americas, it will be on the evening or afternoon of November 19 when the script starts running, and if you live in Oceania or eastern Asia, it can be closer midday on November 27 before we can be sure the script is no longer running.)

Phabricator task.

If there are any problems related to this, or you have any questions, please write me on my talk page. /Johan (WMF) (talk) via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 19:42, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Next steps for the wish “confirmation prompt for the rollback link”Edit

Logo Feedback round in the Technical Wishes project.png

Hello, a while ago you participated in a feedback round about a proposal how accidental clicks on the rollback link could be avoided. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and ideas!
Looking at the feedback and the rollback situation in different wikis, the development team decided how to approach this wish: As a default, most wikis won’t have a confirmation. But users who wish to have one, can enable it in their preferences, which will add a confirmation prompt to the rollback link on the diff page and on the list pages. The prompt won’t be a pop-up, but an inline prompt like for the thanks confirmation. You can read more about the planned solution and what influenced this decision on the project page. -- Best, Johanna Strodt (WMDE) (talk) 09:52, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

Functionaries MeetingEdit

Thanks for signing up to attend the UCoC functionaries meeting. This initial meeting is designed for sitting Arbitrators, Stewards, and Global Sysops to discuss holes that exist in global conduct and dispute discussion and enforcement. I hope and plan to hold more meetings like this in the future, expanding out the invitations to those like yourself who hold important roles across the wikis. For this particular meeting, however, I don't think you're going to find it very useful for what you do. I'm happy to make sure to personally notify you when I'm setting up a meeting that's more appropriate for the roles you're currently occupying, your input is valuable. Keegan (WMF) (talk) 21:08, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Oh I see. I thought it was open for global community, and tend to attend to observe what global community thinks about the UCoC. If its only open for GS, Stewards, arbcoms, than You can cross out me from the list. Best,—*Youngjin (talk) 21:12, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll be in touch about further meetings! Keegan (WMF) (talk) 15:27, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
