It is for me a pleasure to address you all again in which is my fourth steward confirmation, the first after my re-election last year, the third since I became a steward in 2010.
This year, and as before, my activities were focused on providing assistance at the steward requests pages and dealing with cross-wiki issues such as vandalism and spam, and also have performed general cross-wiki maintenance. As a creature of habit myself, you can see I stick to the same activities I’ve been doing in my previous terms, with the addition that this year and with the implementation of the global rename tool, I’ve also handled some renaming and usurp requests. While not strictly related to my steward duties, I've also became active in MediaWiki development, uploading patches to gerrit, for fixing small bugs for wikis such as permissions and extension setup; which I think it is also a good way to assist the projects on a technical side. I'd like to thank those who helped me in getting started in that area. In general and to sum up, I think I’ve been reasonably active as steward this year too.
Speaking as of incidents, I've recently performed a global bot flag cleanup on inactive global accounts according to the global bot policy, however and due to a mistake on my part, operators were not warned in advance before global bot flag removal. To fix that, I've sent notices later and a period of two weeks were given to operators to regain bot flags. I acknowledge my error and I'm sorry for any issue caused. Aside from this incident, I humbly think that I've performed my duties correctly.
If the community pleases I’d love to serve the communities for another term in this role. Thank you for your time.

Es para mí un placer poder dirigirme a todos vosotros nuevamente en la que es mi cuarta confirmación como steward, la primera tras mi reelección el año pasado y la tercera desde que fuese elegido originariamente en el año 2010.
Este año, y como en tiempos pretéritos, mis actividades se han centrado en dar asistencia y ejecutar todo tipo de solicitudes a los stewards, así como gestionar incidencias cross-wiki tales como vandalismo o spam. También he realizado cierto mantenimiento genérico en aquellos proyectos sin personal local. Como hombre de costumbres que suelo ser, podéis ver que sigo apegado a la realización de las mismas actividades a las que he dedicado mi tiempo en años pasados, con la única excepción de que este año y tras la entrada en funcionamiento de la herramienta de renombramiento global de cuentas, he dado curso a algunas de dichas peticiones para cambiar el nombre o usurpar cuentas. En general, creo que he estado razonablemente activo este año. También y como nota adicional considero importante señalar que me he interesado por el desarrollo de MediaWiki y he colaborado subiendo parches a la plataforma gerrit, sobre todo errores minúsculos y cosas sencillas como activar o desactivar permisos locales, cambiar logos de proyectos o traducir espacios de nombre. Aunque no sean tareas estrictas de los stewards, considero que ha sido también un buen modo de ayudar a las comunidades desde el punto de vista técnico.
Si la comunidad consiente y está contenta con mi trabajo, me gustaría continuar por otro año más. Muchas gracias por vuestro tiempo.

Legitimate because you asked for it? CheckUser is not for fishing and certainly not to settle disputes among users nor to apply pressure to editors. Everyone is able to see that CU request you link and see there was no reasons for running it, and as former ro.wp CU Strainu said, there was no serious reasons to invade the privacy of the users. Your assert that I or my fellows support harassment is a plain personal attack. Stewards do deal with a lot of harassment everyday, both on others and to ourselves; but that we have more buttons than other users does not convert us in arbitrators, super(wo)mens or the Foundation's Sheriff Department. That's not true at all. I refer to my reply above. If you do not wish to understand the policies governing both, stewards and checkuser tools, that's fine; but please stop insulting me and other stewards because we didn't resolve the requests in the way you'd have liked. I've also declined CU requests on you on that very page that threw to you "the other side" of the dispute.
