- @Winged Blades of Godric: Huh? Why is this posted here? Is there any meta sysop / crat help needed regarding that RFC? Is it the correct forum or did you posted wrongly? Regards,--Cohaf (talk) 18:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)

Unable to log in
I have been unable to log in to Quarry. Even I permit to access on OAuth, this message, "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application." was displayed every time. Is it caused by my wrong? Please help me.--Miraburu (talk) 14:54, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
- Miraburu I don't think we can help you with this, try asking in Phab: instead.--AldnonymousBicara? 15:03, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

Mass message sender rights
I've been exceeding mass-messaging rights on Meta-Wiki for the past two years (on temporary renewal basis). I currently on the board of Wikipedia & Education UG, handling the Meta-work, and organise activities in India regularly, during which I need to notify various Indic language Wikipedias village pumps. I've put these rights to good use in the past two years and would like them to be extended permanently. KCVelaga (talk) 17:06, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- Granted for 1 year to expire on 2020-05-12.

I have proposed removing all administrators, bureaucrats, and interface admins from the Azerbaijani Wikipedia at the RFC above. Should we use a MassMessage to notify them of this proposal? --Rschen7754 01:24, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- And also CN if possible.--AldnonymousBicara? 05:26, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't know if a CN is necessary. A local sitenotice, maybe, but it would require cooperation from those admins. Global message delivery might be an option, but I don't know if that has been done before for one of these. --Rschen7754 05:30, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Then we need to specify the target for MMS, is there any list of MMS target?--AldnonymousBicara? 09:05, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- I don't think a CN/MMS is necessary; a message at AN and VP is sufficient. Winged Blades of Godric (talk) 16:05, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- I think that at a minimum we should mass message all the admins/crats/interface admins (those who would lose rights). --Rschen7754 17:33, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Comment I think that this discussion is better adjunct to the RFC, so please discuss it there. This is not pertinent to the meta administrators and bureaucrats until there is a request for us to particularly undertake an action. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:03, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi. I would like to request the addition of my bot (User:MenoBot) to the list of bots authorized to use AWB in Meta:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage. (Due to some real life circumstances, I didn't have enough time previously to run the bot. But now, I have more spare time and I would like to rerun the bot. The bot flag was recently kept after a recent review. See this diff.) My bot is already authorized to use AWB on the English and Arabic Wikipedias. Thank you in advance. --Meno25 (talk) 19:59, 13 May 2019 (UTC)

Request for sending a mass message
- This section was archived on a request by: Shizhao (talk) 01:31, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Hi. A few days ago I came across Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Categories/Button to show subcategories, and wrote a user script, m:User:DannyS712/Subcategories.js, that fulfills the request. I would like to send out a message to the people who contributed to that discussion.
- Subject: "User script to view subcategories"
- Recipients: Global message delivery/Targets/Button to show subcategories

Mark Template:RF and Template:User groups for translation
Both of these templates have had changes made to them, but the changes aren't showing up on transclusions because they haven't been marked for translation. * Pppery * has returned 00:39, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Request patroller right for 94rain
I would like to request for patroller right to see patrolmarks and help Recent Changes patrolling on meta. I've read meta:Patrollers and meta:Rollback. I would mark revisions as patrolled with caution and only use rollback for reverting uncontroversial unconstructive edits. Thank you for your consideration. -- 94rain Talk 22:20, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

Page protection request
Hello! I would recommend a page protection for Tech/Ambassadors/List. This page is often edited or vandalised by anons even though tech ambassador can be only logged-in users. I think page protection would be useful. Thanks in advance! Bencemac (talk) 15:05, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Bencemac: the lowest protection level we have is autoconfirmed, so it would require someone have a meta account that they have edited with if we applied protection - which may defeat the purpose some. If it gets bad we could do it with the abuse filter or other hacks, but I don't think it's been that bad has it? — xaosflux Talk 17:54, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- I just wanted to report the situation, so if you say that we can handle this in the current way, it is fine for me. Bencemac (talk) 11:07, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Page protection request
Could my user and user talk pages be semi-protected please. I'm experiencing a lot of cross-wiki vandalism from Commons and this is his preferred venue when he's blocked there. Thanks. Rodhullandemu (talk) 21:07, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- Done @Rodhullandemu: for user talk for 12 months. No requirement for user page, they are restricted editing by an abusefilter. If there are subpages requiring protection, then please let us know. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:31, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- Addendum. If you are getting hassled at small and medium wikis, then we have an available global abusefilter that can assist. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:32, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

FYI (fellow admins and stewards): User in special:contributions/2600:1702:38D0:E70:0:0:0:0/32
Our user in 2600:1702:38D0:E70:0:0:0:0/32 is making a range of unconstructive edits, especially to templates, and it has been happening for an extended period of time, and something that I have also seen elsewhere. I have restricted their access to the Template: ns for a few months, requesting that they use template: talk ns to request changes. They have also been adding pings and other unconstructive edits, and specifically will not edit from an account. I am pretty much over the unconstructive components and will look at more visible means to manage their edits. Once I have done more I will let people review. @Tegel: who has a bit of contact with that user. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:00, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, we might need to extend the partial block on Meta to cover some other pages as well. This page might be a good candidate. -- Tegel (Talk) 17:05, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Billinghurst: the range is wrong, it's ::/64, not ::/32 2607:FB90:5D06:E5CA:D619:6D35:30AD:1EC9 17:13, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- From what I can see the protectionand block affect /32. -- Tegel (Talk) 17:14, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- well, it says 2600:1702::/32 who got blocked 2607:FB90:5D06:E5CA:D619:6D35:30AD:1EC9 17:19, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Tegel: are you really trying to block me from the whole site? 2600:1702:38D0:E70:FD25:732E:F177:1A07 17:23, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- plus, my ip range got moved from special:contribs/2602:304:68ad:3220::/64 so this is a brand new range 2600:1702:38D0:E70:FD25:732E:F177:1A07 17:24, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- i also used to edit templates in that range 2600:1702:38D0:E70:FD25:732E:F177:1A07 17:26, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- As long as you continue to contribute with unconstructive contributions and is changing other users comments, so yes, I will continue to block you. -- Tegel (Talk) 17:29, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- ok, i wont do that again 2600:1702:38D0:E70:FD25:732E:F177:1A07 17:34, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- And you continue to ping users to this page that is neither an admin nor a bureaucrat. How did you think this would work? -- Tegel (Talk) 17:44, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- because i was trying to request a global unblock 2607:FB90:5D06:E5CA:D619:6D35:30AD:1EC9 17:49, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Help about frwiki
The frwiki sysops refuse to explain the infinite block of my account Visite fortuitement prolongée [stalktoy] – [cross-wiki edits] (so I can't apologize for inappropriate behaviour), and they refuse to unblock this account. Could you help me? Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 19:31, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- No. Metawiki sysops cannot help with that. Please deal with the matter on frwiki. Vermont (talk) 19:33, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- The infinite block is clearly explained here, Visite fortuitement prolongée. I would be surprised if you did not see it since May 2015. --AntonierCH(d) 19:39, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- AntonierCH can you quote the sentences fully explaining the block? Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 20:19, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
