Happy Bengali New YearEdit

Thank you for introducing me to the art, culture, history, and society of Dhaka. You are very thoughtful in anticipating my interests and curiosity and you always seemed to answer any question I had more completely to my desire than I ever was able to ask in my own words. I felt fortunate to have been able to see the shows and places where we went and very lucky that I had you with me to explain things because you knew what I wanted.

I apologize for falling out of touch. Happy Bengali New Year. I see on the roster that you are going to Milan for the Wikimedia Conference, and I hope that while you are there you accomplish what you intend to do. Let's chat soon and not fall out of touch. If there were some way to make a partnership between Wikipedians and information activists in the United States and Bangladesh then I would like to help organize that. Blue Rasberry (talk) 14:07, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

I am sorry, I just noticed your message today. And Happy Bengali New Year to you, too. It was very unfortunate that neither of me nor Tanvir could make it to Milan. The Embassy of Italy in Dhaka had denied our Visa applications at the 11th hour, in spite of trying everything possible. :(
Anyways, It was a delightful time when I had the honor to give some idea about the people of this part of the world. The pleasure was mine.
Definitely it will be a nice experience to work together. I will look forward to it. Tarunno (talk) 19:55, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Please complete survey for your Project Grants proposalEdit

Dear Tarunno,

We have sent you a survey link to the email address you provided in your recently submitted Project Grants proposal. We need you to open the email and fill out the survey as soon as possible. We have emailed you twice without response (on March 20 and March 23), and we are not sure if you still wish for your proposal to be reviewed. If we do not receive your survey response by March 31, 2020, we will mark your proposal withdrawn.

We hope to hear from you!

Warm regards,

--Marti (WMF) (talk) 02:31, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for helping to create the Wikimedia 2030 Movement Strategy RecommendationsEdit

  Wikimedia 2030

Sunday August 23: Strategic Wikimedia Affiliates Network meetingEdit

Strategic flock of Wikimedians heading in a new direction.

The Strategic Wikimedia Affiliates Network (SWAN) is a proposed forum for all Wikimedia movement affiliates to share ideas on the Wikimedia 2030 strategy process. It expands on the model of the All-Affiliates Brand Meeting to help lay some of the groundwork for a future Global Council.

The idea is to follow up on the All-Affiliates Brand Meeting and other strategic and outreach topics of mutual concern to all affiliates, and you are all invited to RSVP here.--Pharos (talk) 15:21, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
