Chapters news on Main Page Goings-on
editWhy not just add that to Template:Main Page/WM News? You don't need to be an admin to modify it. πr2 (t • c) 20:31, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Do you want to have a separate section for chapters news? πr2 (t • c) 20:32, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi and sorry for being late. Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure if I am like "allowed" to add this kind of news there. :) As long as we don't we don't have a task force for those chapter related news, I am totally fine with adding them on the general goings-on section. Cheers! --Nicole Ebber (WMDE) (talk) 20:07, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Wikimedia Chapters Survey. :)
editHello Nicole!
I am running a small research study for WCA and Wikimania 2013 and I would like to ask you for a favour. :)
I have created a following draft: Wikimedia Chapters Association/Research/Survey 1 - the idea is that particular chapters could easily give their answers in their pace simply by editing a subpage dedicated to their own organization.
Before I create their subpages I would like to consult with you about the questions - I still feel I might have some improvements here. :) I do not want to ask to many questions as the people may stop responding completely but I would like to ask you what question would you add, change, remove? :)
Aaand certainly I could count on you and your chapter in filling the forms? :)
Best Regards!
aegis maelstrom δ 14:10, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. :) Your help will be vital - this is too much data mining for one volunteer with somewhat limited time, I am afraid, but it would be cool to do that. Your subpage is here. :)
- Best,

- Thanks! I've tried to respond best I could. Honestly, if you have any ideas or requirements for Chapters' Dialogue, shoot, I will try to adjust. It is for a sake of co-operation, after all. :)

Copyright problem with File:CLUBOFFICE-Logo-quer.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:CLUBOFFICE-Logo-quer.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at this page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —MarcoAurelio 10:20, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi MarcoAurelio, thanks for this notice. Please go ahead and delete the file right away. We used this logo in 2012 for the Wikimedia Conference, as it was hosted in the premises of Club Office. They allowed us to use the logo, but I do not have a written agreement regarding the copyright status. Thanks! --Nicole Ebber (WMDE) (talk) 20:46, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

Index of WMDE statements?
editHi. Do you happen to know if there's an index anywhere of official WMDE statements? I'm looking mostly for things like this and this. I find the statements to be unusually insightful, and would like to read more like that, other WMDE statements on major Wikimedia topics, if such a list is available. --Yair rand (talk) 05:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Yair rand, thanks for reaching out. I am currently not aware of such an index, but let me try and find out more and get back to you. Best, --Nicole Ebber (WMDE) (talk) 08:15, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hello again, Yair rand. So from what I know there is no such index at the moment, but I have transferred your question into a todo for me and my team at WMDE. We'll create something over the next weeks and then I'll ping you again. In the meantime, some documents that still have some relevance and that you might also find insightful are our Feedback on to the FDC process from 2014, our Essay on Wikimedia's culture of sharing from 2012 and of course the outcomes of the Chapters Dialogue project I lead in 2013-14. Thanks again for the inspiration to create a collection. :) --Nicole Ebber (WMDE) (talk) 10:48, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
