—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bartolocarrasco (talk) 01:18, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Hasley: can you explain the "concerns about translations"? --DannyS712 (talk) 02:44, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- My apologies for the delay. I left a note at his talk page. This user has been heavily using machine translation, which produces texts of unsatisfactory quality —some of them are almost completely incomprehensible—, as well has had problems with documentation pages. Please note that a lot of those translations should be checked and rewritten. Feel free to revert my action if you disagree with it. Sgd. —Hasley 13:01, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
Everything that person describes about my translations is false, I do not use any robot and if my translations are of poor quality let him prove it to me. However, these things tire me out a lot and since I don't have the quality to translate, I'm going to quit, I thank you for recognizing my work at the time, but I'm sick and since I only do this to contribute to something that should be beautiful, but sometimes it isn't, I regret the inconvenience caused and I say goodbye. Greetings —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bartolocarrasco (talk) 03:21, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
Blocked Url Cinebible
Hi Danny @DannyS712:, I added a section called Popular Manhwas to wiki/manhwa. The section was kept however the cinebible.com was put into blocklist. If I have violated some rules, I was completely unaware of it. I am still new here and learning things Kindly request you remove it from the list. I will be more careful from now and will go through all the policies. After going through all the policies I do understand how what I did could affect the site. And from now I will strictly abide by all the policies. Please kindly understand and remove the Url from block list. Thanks Elliot —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Elliot wk (talk) 21:40, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- If you would like to use the url on a specific wiki, please request that it be locally whitelisted --DannyS712 (talk) 09:37, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
@DannyS712: No I wouldn't link to the site from any wiki for now. First I will work on building the authority of the site for a few years. Its just later it would be very difficult to whitelist it. I do understand why you did that and appreciate your contribution. I promise that will never happen again and I do look forward to learning a lot from you. Please give me one chance. I promise that I won't disappoint. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Elliot wk (talk) 17:57, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- So what exactly do you want me to do, if you don't want it whitelisted? --DannyS712 (talk) 17:59, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
I think its on the global blacklist. I just want you to whitelist it so later I don't have to whitelist it locally. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Elliot wk (talk) 18:02, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- There is no global whitelist, and since you said you aren't going to use it I'm not inclined to remove it from the blacklist. (Also, please sign your posts with

at the end) --DannyS712 (talk) 18:08, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
I honestly was unaware of the policies. It just makes me anxious that my site is on the blacklist ( a side effect of PTSD). And just because I am aware of it, it's constantly bugging me. What I meant is that currently, I won't link to the site and will work on its authority so after some time it becomes link-worthy. I have been researching Wikipedia policies and realized how some people can bring down its credibility by spamming. Trust me I am not one of them and what I did was truly a mistake which I guarantee will never happen again. I really want to learn as much as I can from you. Please give me one chance for redemption and remove it from the blacklist. I have worked really hard on the site and have been saving for 7 years to get it made. To have it on a blacklist takes my sleep away. --Elliot wk 18:59, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll remove it, but if it is spammed (by you or others) it'll be added back --DannyS712 (talk) 19:12, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks a lot DannyS712. I assure you that will never happen from my end and I will remove it if I ever find it at any other wikis. But when it comes to others can you please suggest how I can make sure no one else does it. Also if you find it anywhere else just nudge me once and I will remove it instantly. Thanks again --Elliot wk 19:58, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

Intervention needed on IG wiki
Greetings, Danny! I see you've recently helped revert some vandalism on the Igbo WP. As it's a more extensive and recurring problem, I've explained it at Talk:Small Wiki Monitoring Team#Protection against IP vandals. Hoping this will help. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 15:47, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi DannyS712. Let me ask you a question. Who do you give autopatroller to? --Gomdoli (talk) 03:36, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- I look through recent changes and check the users with unpatrolled edits. Trusted users on other wikis, WMF staff, users I personally have interacted with, and others that I don't believe require patrolling are the ones I grant autopatroller to. --DannyS712 (talk) 03:48, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Removal for October 2020
Hello Danny, I tried to help you too. By the way, I didn't write admin actions that are in 10, because they are no less than 10. You can check what I've added informations if you want. Regards. --Uncitoyentalk 00:02, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- Meanwhile, I exempted 8 newly elected admins and foundation accounts. I checked the contributions and logs between 1 April and 1 October with both Xtools and manually. --Uncitoyentalk 00:12, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- I originally included DerHexer, but then realized that their edits include edits in the mediawiki namespace, which count as admin actions, so I removed them, see Special:Diff/20510356 DannyS712 (talk) 00:16, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- As for the other admins missing log entries, they appear to have had 0 and so didn't show up on Xtools DannyS712 (talk) 00:19, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- You are telling the truth. Also Kaganer have 1 edit on MediaWiki namespace. There was too much inactive admins during this period. :( If there is something missing, you will notice better. --Uncitoyentalk 00:25, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- I reviewed the other users that you added:
- I also double checked Base and Anthere
- Anthere - 4 ([13], [14], [15], [16])
- Base - 8 or 10, see RFH DannyS712 (talk) 00:47, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- It would be nice if I could help you. Are deleted contributions also counted? Perhaps it may work for those admins on the borderline. I can't see it because I'm not an admin. You deserve to be congratulated as you prepared this list almost by yourself. :) According to the response from bureaucrats, this list will be finalized. --Uncitoyentalk 00:56, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- I checked all of the deleted contributions if I recall DannyS712 (talk) 01:07, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks Danny. I forked and amended the query we used the last run at quarry:query/47833 but for some reason it keeps failing (Lost connection to MySQL server during query

- No idea, sorry. It might be too much to try and get edit counts and log actions at the same time. For the future, edit counts can be retrieved with quarry:query/38975, and for log actions xtools and manually checking might be needed (we still need to clarify which log actions count though) DannyS712 (talk) 21:06, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Will you please block 120.188.0.0/16 (talk · contribs), 114.5.0.0/16 (talk · contribs), and 114.4.0.0/16 (talk · contribs) since IPs on those ranges have been persistently harassing and vandalizing pages I edited and my talk pages for months. Not only in enwiki but also across several wikis like idwiki and commonswiki. the first (120.188.0.0/17 (talk · contribs)) and the 2nd are now blocked on enwiki only for some time so he moved to commons. Thanks. Flix11 (talk) 07:12, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- I suggest requesting an Meta:RFH for local blocks - since those are fairly large ranges, I don't feel comfortable blocking them right now. Though, a global block might be called for instead? In which case I suggest using SRG DannyS712 (talk) 22:34, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi there
Hello from Wikivoyage Danny, I could use some advice. WV has been giving me alerts about failed attempts to log in my account (six as of the last 60 minutes). My password is strong, but I wonder if there are ways to beef up the security. Any help from you is welcome. As a side note, I'd like to be of more service as janitor in Wikipedia and Simple Wikipedia, help with the massive workload there, as you've been helping Wikivoyage, and maybe start tweaking Wikidata too for the benefit of both communities. Your guidance is very welcome here. Cheers Ibaman (talk) 21:32, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Vova WIFI
Hi! You granted autopatroller rights to Vova WIFI thinking that his edits didn't have to be patrolled, but in fact they do.
Actually, I've already looked at his activity on Meta and asked him to refrain from translating anything here, but he doesn't seem to be willing to stop. (See ru:"Обсуждение участника:Vova WIFI#Ваши переводы на Мете". And here are some examples of bad translations, look at my comment.)
Therefore I think it would be advisable to remove his autopatroller flag before he does any more damage.
Btw, the user has already lost his autopartroller status on the Russian Wikipedia. Cause he posted machine-translated articles there. See ru:"Википедия:Заявки на снятие флагов/Архив/Патрулирующие/2020#Vova WIFI: флаг автопатрулируемого". --Moscow Connection (talk) 08:02, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello, @DannyS712:! For some unknown reason, I was not warned in time, so I could not say anything in my defense :(. But I will speak out now:
First, the reason for withdrawal can not be another project (in my opinion). Second, three hundred and fifty translation edits are enough to say that my translation is correct. Thirdly. The theme of Wikipedia is much easier than those topics that I've translated in the ruwiki. So you can be sure of the quality. I don't really care if I have rights or not. But it's a shame Vova WIFI (talk) 09:57, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- In this case, given that cannot check the quality, since I don't know the language, I'd rather err on the side of caution --DannyS712 (talk) 06:07, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- @DannyS712:OK. I can get people to check on me. They know both English and Russian. They will check and correct for a while, and then they will give their opinion. How do you like this idea? Vova WIFI (talk) 06:10, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I'd rather someone who understands the language regrant the rights if and when that should occur DannyS712 (talk) 06:11, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

Vova WIFI has contacted me on whether I can grant him the flag pointing to this discussion for context. I looked briefly through 50 recentmost contributions of his, at the moment it is a no. Translations:Wikitechnocracy/1/ru, Translations:Grants/27/ru, Translations:Grants/31/ru, Translations:Grants/35/ru — those are considerably off. Knowing from Discord server that the user uses Yandex translate, I have checked if that's the case here: https://imgur.com/a/o7tYIae — indeed, the former translation goes as far as to match broken wikicode. The latter seems to be fixed a bit, but the translation is off (I do not see what "людей" is for there). Either the user shall stop translating or their contributions indeed need to be patrolled. I see them as a good-faith editor, but unfortunately in this case CIR kicks in. --Base (talk) 08:45, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Base:, I can offer an alternative. I can invite people to follow my edits, and then they will give their opinion about the quality. Vova WIFI (talk) 09:05, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Vova WIFI, that is a good option, but that basically is patrolling. --Base (talk) 09:15, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Base:, @DannyS712: What if I don't do translations? I can fix incorrect links, for example. Владимир Меланхолин (talk) 09:29, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- In that case, patrollers will likely patrol your edits - autopatrol isn't a "hat" (w:Wikipedia:Hat collecting) that you should pursue, it does not grant you any additional powers, just reduces the burden on patrollers DannyS712 (talk) 09:31, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

- I'm sorry, I don't really understand what you're asking - if you don't think this warrants a bot flag, why describe it as "massive bot-like edits"? Find blacklist entry
Thanks for this. I have one request though, could this be hooked into the {{BLRequestLink}} and en.wiki’s {{WLRequestLink}}? Both are used on the blacklists and whitelists. —Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 04:24, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Beetstra what do you mean by hooked into? What do those templates do? DannyS712 (talk) 07:02, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- With 'hooking into': I would like to have a 'find entry' link that calls your script, reporting back the results on these links.
- For 'BLRequestLink' it is to specify a specific link for the blacklist (either adding or removing), 'WLRequestLink' (on en.wikipedia) is specifically used on the whitelist but basically doing the same as BLRequestLink:
- Link/text requested to be blacklisted:
www.example.org/subfolder/anothersubfolder/document.htm
- Link/text requested to be blacklisted:
- The blacklisting script (BLHandler and the WL and BL scripts in my userspace) take that link, convert it to a regex and add/remove it to/from the blacklist and whitelists, like they do with the domains out of {{LinkSummary}} (the 'find entry' is sometimes also informative on the domains reported in LinkSummaries).
- Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 08:13, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hmm, okay. So this will need to include the regex handling your scripts have, and also have a parameter to pre-set the url to search for. Might take me a bit DannyS712 (talk) 09:08, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Is your script matching an url against all regexes? In that case it is a matter of doing the same with parameter '1' (or 'link'). --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 11:16, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- The script is testing the url against the blacklist api first. If it matches (and thus the url is blacklisted) it retrieves the contents of the local spam blacklist, filters the lines, and then checks the url against each regex until one matches. If there is no match, it does the same for the global blacklist DannyS712 (talk) 20:52, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, you can now set the
link=
param to preload a value. Is that what you were looking for? DannyS712 (talk) 04:29, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

DiscussionTools
Hello,
The Editing team has scheduled a major update to mw:Extension:DiscussionTools (the new Reply tool) for next week's deployment train. Since you invoke the feature from a script (I do, too), you're probably going to see that update next week, before it's officially released in the mw:Beta Feature system. The new update will use a similar system for starting a ==New discussion==. As before, full-page wikitext editing will not be affected. There is more information on the project page at mw:Talk pages project/New discussion.
If you encounter problems next week, please ping me or leave a note on the talk page for the project. Thanks, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 19:49, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Whatamidoing (WMF) thanks for letting me know DannyS712 (talk) 23:56, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
re-opening previous request
Dear DannyS712,
in your talkpage archive 2 is a request User_talk:DannyS712/Archive_2#Help_activating_translation - from user:Wirjadisastra with regards to how to get the page Wiki Masyarakat Adat/Berkas set up for translation. It was requested after the original message and so you mightn't have seen the followup. This page is the most visually impressive part of that project's report, and so as the grant-officer from the WMF associated with the project I would really like to help it be seen by as many people as possible. I don't suppose you could help set it up so that it can match the Indonesian equivalent - see the redlink for "Berkas" at Wiki_Masyarakat_Adat/en. I'm sorry if this is an unusual request, but I don't wish to ruin or cause extra work for user:Wirjadisastra by fiddling with templates I am not confident with. Sincerely, LWyatt (WMF) (talk) 16:44, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- @LWyatt (WMF) @Wirjadisastra sorry for not seeing the request earlier. I've switched the page language to Indonesian and marked it for translation, please let me know if there is anything else DannyS712 (talk) 04:34, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, but there is one thing you miss, the "Peraturan Bupati" part. I've added tags around it, but I can't translate it, so need your help again. Wirjadisastra (talk) 12:58, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Global watchlist - Update 8
Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. I have released version 9.1.0 to both the dev and stable versions, which includes a notification about the extension being available when you use the user script. You can dismiss the notification, and the script still works, but it will no longer be maintained.
Those interested in providing feedback for the extension should use the phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist. Any bug reports about the extension should be filed there.
This will likely be the last update sent to this list.
Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 19:42, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Is there a way to disable this notification? I am currently using the script with 32 wikis, but the extension only allows 5, so I would like to keep using the script. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 08:45, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- @1234qwer1234qwer4 no, there isn't currently. If you want to use more wikis (which I totally understand) please file a request on phabricator - its currently limited due to a performance concern, but since the extension should be more performant than the script I think the limit could be increased. Quick assistance
Hey DannyS712! I've been cropping images from WikiCommons for the longest time and haven't received any negative feedback. However today when I was about to start my wiki edits for the day, I could not crop any images from commons using crop tool because I've "Upload failed! [api] Received error: autoblocked : Your IP address has been blocked automatically, because it was used by a blocked user". I have not received any messages suggesting I may be blocked or my actions are disruptive. I'm confused because I have not been blocked from editing on any other wiki platforms. The only wiki-related thing that I've been blocked from using is the crop tool? I was wondering if there was a way to check if I am blocked and if so how I can resolve this OR if this is a crop tool glitch. --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 11:02, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @TDKR Chicago 101 can you confirm that your own IP is not blocked on commons? I.e. can you still edit there? If so, then the issue is likely that whatever ip the tool uses was autoblocked DannyS712 (talk) 14:37, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @DannyS712 I can 100% confirm that I can still confirm my own IP is not blocked. I have no messages, whenever I edit a file there's no banner that says that I'm blocked and I even recently uploaded a file from flickr. Is there a way to fix this autoblock on crop tool? --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 14:40, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Then the IP used by the tool itself is likely blocked. I suggest reporting this in phabricator DannyS712 (talk) 14:49, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Where/who would I reach out to? I felt that this might've been a WikiMedia problem since crop tool is using my wikimedia info. --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 14:56, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Use phab: and file a bug report that crop tool is blocked DannyS712 (talk) 15:12, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @TDKR Chicago 101 update: this was addressed in a security task on phabricator and should be working now DannyS712 (talk) 17:28, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Does something like this exist? (Bot or script to generate a summary of conversations in multi-language distributed discussions)
Hi DannyS712, I was hoping you might be able to help me answer a scripting question: we're looking for something that generates a human-readable sortable report showing, for example, comments with attached diffs in ongoing conversations across different wikis. I suppose it is kind of like a global watchlist, however the display would be formatted differently to better represent a view of participation on a given page that exists in multiple languages. Do you know of anything like this?
(Further details) The usecase scenario looks at wikidata:Q106318421 with the understanding that some of these links are redirects to sections of village pumps (e.g.) and we don't want to know about the whole page in this case, just any thing in that particular heading or subheadings thereof. Xeno (WMF) (talk) 16:15, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Xeno (WMF) I haven't seen anything like this - the closest thing I can think of is w:User:Enterprisey/section-watchlist DannyS712 (talk) 17:35, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the tip, I'm going to try that now. Xeno (WMF) (talk) 23:16, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi. The filter seems to be getting a lot of false positives, and probably due to IP editors. Can I suggest for this filter that you look to exclude page_namespace=10 as that was copping a flogging for a few days, and typically that namespace is not one of particular interest in a global sense. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:22, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
Global watchlist - Update 9
Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
Hi everyone. As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant last year from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
That grant has ended, and I have requested another grant to continue development of the extension, and figured subscribers of the newsletter about the user script might be interested. You can see and comment on the grant request at m:Grants:Project/DannyS712/Continued work on GlobalWatchlist extension - if you support this, I hope you'll consider endorsing the request.

Translating help
Hi Danny
I need some help on how to format https://wikimania.wikimedia.org/wiki/2021:Wikimania_Submission_help_desk so that it can be translated. If you could look it over I'll update all the other pages we are setting for 2021 with the same formatting. If you cant do this can you please ping someone who can help cheers. Gnangarra (talk) 01:47, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Gnangarra sorry, can you ask someone else? The fact that it is a help desk makes it a bit tricky, since I assume each post isn't going to be translated too - marking the overall page for translation would mean after each help post there would be a need to mark the page for translation again, even if the changes are to the part that doesn't get translated - maybe put the header that gets translated on a different subpage, and transclude it? DannyS712 (talk) 02:02, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thank for the advice thats infinitely more sensible Gnangarra (talk) 02:07, 22 May 2021 (UTC)

Probably not a good idea to add non-SUL wikis to global watchlist
There are good reasons why those wikis are non-SUL. One might consider them "air-gapped" from the rest of Wikimedia projects. The separate account required to access a non-SUL wiki may not be identical to the username/global account that accesses the SUL wikis, and for security reasons they require a different password than one would use on the main global account. Most of these wikis contain non-public information, including non-public personal information. As a member of multiple non-SUL wikis at present, and even more in the past, I can say quite honestly that any hypothetical value in including them in the global watchlist is greatly outweighed by the security risks involved. Those individuals who have an account on a non-SUL wiki can set preferences for email notifications of changes (at least on most of those wikis), and that is a much more secure way of handling watchlist-type information. Risker (talk) 16:50, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- I expressed my reservations to Danny before, but I want to second @Risker's comment anyway. This is well said, and I fully share the thoughts in the comment., Martin Urbanec (talk) 16:55, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- I agree. The privates wikis are intentionally separate from the SUL farm. There are a scant few that might be useful to have in Global Watchlist, such as Wikitech, but I can only assume there are technical challenges here given it requires a separate set of credentials to query it. You would need the user to manually provide a watchlist token, and/or login to the non-SUL wiki through OAuth or something. From a user experience perspective this seems non-ideal, too. — MusikAnimal talk 17:02, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Risker I understand the potential security issues, which is why if there was support for adding non-SUL wikis the first thing I was going to do is get approval from the security team before moving forward. DannyS712 (talk) 21:30, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi DannyS712, I was pretty sure you understood the issues. The purpose of publicly posting this is that...well, memories are short, and it's worthwhile to articulate reasons for decisions so that when the same question comes up a few years down the road, we already have some record of discussion and decision-making. - Hi DannyS712! We have discussed this in the German Arbcom as well and most of us would not like to use the global watchlist for non-SUL wikis, since this wikis are intentionally non-SUL (i.e. you can use different passwords, 2FAs, etc) and because of privacy reasons. Best regards, --Ameisenigel (talk) 20:12, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

[{{fullurl:User:*(kt)*-t"-t"=1"}} *(kt)*-t"-t"=1"] [{{fullurl:User:*(kt)*-t"-t"=1"}} {{#if:{{{hidename|}}}|<abbr title="name hidden">''name hidden''</abbr>|*(kt)*-t"-t"=1"}}]
While the first one renders fine, the second one appears to add an extra linebreak before the link title (thus resulting in the *
character to be interpreted as a bullet list marker)? ~~~~

- Not sure why, sorry DannyS712 (talk) 21:48, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- At least I figured out that apparently the
*
character is the culprit.is a minimal example where the star character is misinterpreted as a bullet point. Do you think I should submit a Phabricator ticket? ~~~~foo {{#if:{{{1|}}}||*}} bar

Marking Wikiproject:Antispam for translation
Hi!
Could you please mark for translation Wikiproject:Antispam, Talk:Wikiproject:Antispam, Wikiproject:Antispam/Contacts and Wikiproject:Antispam/Archives please? Sorry if there is a dedicated place to ask that: I could not find it.
Best, — Jules* Talk 17:18, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Jules* FWIW, I would suggest transcluding a (translatable) header on the talk page, or else the page would need to be re-marked for translation each time someone makes a post. ~~~~
User:1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 18:35, 30 July 2021 (UTC)- Thanks @1234qwer1234qwer4, I will do that. So it will be Talk:Wikiproject:Antispam/Header instead. — Jules* Talk 18:39, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Done, I think - generally requests can be made at Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat if you don't know a specific translation admin, but I'm happy to help DannyS712 (talk) 22:37, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks! :) — Jules* Talk 23:03, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Can you mark for translation Talk:Wikiproject:Antispam/Header too please? — Jules* Talk 10:31, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Done --DannyS712 (talk) 00:01, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello DannyS712. Is it possible to mark Requests for comment/Wikimedia Enterprise for translation, please? Best, — Jules* Talk 09:02, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Jules* I don't think that page should be translated, and reverted your addition of translate tags. RFCs are not usually added to the translation system because the are discussions and so would need to constantly be re-marked for translation after each contribution, or there would be a warning about missing changed, and there is limited benefits to translating the background if the entire discussion will be in users' own language rather than translated too DannyS712 (talk) 09:42, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- OK, I understand; thanks for explanation. — Jules* Talk 09:44, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Congrats to #1000
You just signed as #1000 to the open letter about the branding, congratulations for starting off the forth digit Grüße vom Sänger ♫(Reden) 17:17, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

My rights
I ask you to return the rights you removed earlier. I stopped making transfers, so you can give me my rights back. Владимир Меланхолин (talk) 07:28, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- You don't appear to be editing much anymore - only 2 edits since July, this request and an edit to your user page. I don't see how autopatrol would help, since there aren't many edits to patrol, so I'm not going to add the rights back, sorry. --DannyS712 (talk) 01:13, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
Layboard
Hello!
I am a representative of the site layboard, com. This is a service for finding jobs abroad that is focused on Ukrainian, Russian and Belarusian citizens.
To make the source popularized, several outbound links from Wikipedia have been posted.
On July 3, 2020, you (user DannyS712) blocked the site for spreading spam. Here is the report https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:COIBot/XWiki/layboard.com
Have we done such harm to Wikipedia by posting those 12 links??? Don't we even deserve to be mentioned in the online encyclopedia??? After all, they write about us on external news resources. Here they are, you can see:
https://www.rbc.ua/ukr/news/layboard-com-luchshiy-sayt-poiska-raboty-1625654313.html
https://interfax.com.ua/news/press-release/662023.html
We also have a mobile app that is spread into Google Play. There it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.layboard&hl=en_US&gl=US
We have many years of experience in this field and we are one of the leaders in our industry.
If we really broke all possible rules, then why didn't you remove similar links to other commercial sites? In the article https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BD%D0%B0_%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B0 you removed Layboard.com, but you left Eurabota.ua. See this in screenshot http://joxi.ru/KAxkGO9UVKynk2. Why is this site better than ours?
Explain please, what Wikipedia rules did you follow?
DannyS712, please, remove Layboard.com from the Spam blacklist Wikimedia.
Please, restore the only link on https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BD%D0%B0_%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B0 or on some other page.
Doesn't Layboard deserve it?
Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Layboardcom (talk) 11:49, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
- This was already declined at Special:Diff/22518432 (though that came after the request here, it was in the correct place for such requests, the spam blacklist talk page, and I agree with the declining) --DannyS712 (talk) 10:29, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
