Personal info: Hey everyone! I would like to continue as steward, despite upcoming low steward-related activity due to a Wikimedian-in-Residence project for half a year. Like others here I'm easily reachable on IRC, other communication channels and real-life events. My main focus for the upcoming year would be exploring possibilities to lower the amount of spambots drastically or at least make it manageable, so stewards have more time to focus on the important issues.

Neutral Nothing against Sjoerddebruin personally, however they went from May 23 to August 14 and then again from September 22 to January 7 with no steward actions. Moreover, all the September activity took place on two days and consists of a bunch of mass locking of spambot accounts; some of the other months are similar. For me that is barely sufficient activity, but they say they will be less active for half the year, which leads me to wonder if another term is a good idea. --Rs chen 7754 14:12, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
