Thanks for your participation during the Inspire Campaign focused on outreach to outside knowledge networks from February 2017. I'm interested in hearing your experience during the campaign, so if you're able, I invite you to complete this brief survey to describe how you contributed to the campaign and how you felt about participating. I want to improve how campaigns are run, so let me know if there's something that could be done better for next time.

Please feel free to let me know on my talk page if you have any questions about the campaign or the survey. Thanks! I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 18:34, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

SVG Translate Community wishlist survey project

edit

Hello! Thank you for voting for the SVG Translate project that was proposed in the 2017 Wishlist survey. The Community Tech team in the Wikimedia Foundation is beginning to start their work on the project. We're currently looking for feedback on some open questions which will allow us to come up with preliminary designs for the tool. If you are interested in being involved, you can watch the project page and join in the discussions on the talk page. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from your experiences. Thank you. -- NKohli (WMF), Product Manager, Community Tech (talk) 21:53, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Community Wishlist Survey

edit

Hi,

You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.

You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:23, 30 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your Community Wishlist Survey proposals

edit

Thanks for participating in this year's survey! Unfortunately, you can make no more than three proposals. Please let us know what three you you'd like to keep, and we will Archive the others. From there, you can seek others to adopt your proposals, if you want. Sorry you weren't aware of this rule! Thanks for your understanding :) MusikAnimal (WMF) (talk) 02:12, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

@MusikAnimal: Ah, damn. Missed that rule. :/ Then I'll take
Support 360 photo viewing
  1. (Un)-Pause Buttons for animated GIFs
  2. SVGs are often tiny in the preview (MediaViewer)
  3. Enable Visual Editor for all non-talk-namespaces

Except if one of the original proposers TheDJ, Ahm masum wants to take over the 360° photo viewing-wish again? (I was surprised that it wasn't in the survey already.) -- MichaelSchoenitzer (talk) 10:55, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've been holding out on my personal proposals till saturday, so that I can propose the 2 most important that have not been proposed yet. ;) —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 11:07, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
i want to take over. it would be nice if you add my name as a "proposer" for this year. best wishes.--- Ahm masum (talk) 12:15, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Ahm masum: Cool! I named you as proposer. Can you please take a look at it and maybe correct it/add missing aspects? I'm not that into this wish and only proposed it since I regret a lot that it slightly missed Top 10 twice. (Or actually three times if you include the German wishlist!) @MusikAnimal: So I choose the three wishes listed above. -- MichaelSchoenitzer (talk) 13:12, 8 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Furthermore, we hope that you will participate in the other Wikisource improvement projects, which we’ll address in the future. App for uploading pronunciations of words to Commons

edit

Hi there! Hope you're doing well. Some time ago (long time ago?) when the Technical Advice IRC meeting existed, we were discussing about an app to upload pronunciations of words to Commons. At that time, you had shown interest in developing such an app. So, I thought of letting you know that such an app exists now. Its called Spell4Wiki. You could find it on GitHub here and in Play Store here. I never got around to developing it but fortunately someone else did :) Hope that helps.

Stay safe, Kaartic correct me, if i'm wrong 11:10, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello @MichaelSchoenitzer:.

I'm humbly requesting you to withdraw this proposal so that I can propose it slight differently.

Regards --MASUM THE GREAT (talk)
