- I am saddened and shocked. Meeting Khalid in Mexico last summer and working with him on improving the Shahmukhi Punjabi Wikipedia was, without any exaggeration, one of the most satisfying experiences of my life. He laid a great foundation for Shahmukhi Punjabi Wikimedia projects, and continuing his work would be a wonderful way to remember him. נוח על משכבך בשלום. --Amir E. - I have met Mr. Khalid in Mexico City during Wikimania 2015. He was such a marvelous man. It was quite coincidence that, we discussed on some issues. He was so generous.
