The Community Wishlist Survey
editHi,
You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.
You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
Invitation to organize CEE Spring 2020
editDear Andrei Stroe! We are writing to you because you have organised CEE Spring in your community in the past and hope that you're excited to participate this year too! :-)
The time has come to start preparing for CEE Spring 2020 which will happen during the usual timeframe (21st of March until May 31st).
There are some things the we want to announce:
- You are welcome to join the international team.
- You can sign up as a local organizer
- To reduce administrative overhead there would be stricter rules on how communities can receive prize funds.
- You can start working on local pages and article lists.
- We are willing to expand our side contests like CEE Women and spice up our Hall of Fame.
- We are also looking into opportunities for communities outside the region, including running contest on English Wikipedia.
- We will communicate all our activities in email list, Facebook group and Telegram.
Yours, the CEE International Organisers Team
Translation request - Board elections
editDear Andrei,
I have seen that you did some translations to Romanian recently - Though it is not fully complete yet, thank you very much for this!
Now I am so keen to kindly ask you for a favor - we are currently in the process of translating a second voter email to all those who did not vote yet in the board elections. This mail invites every editor very directly to cast their vote. The more we can invite in their native tongue, the better. So you see: that mail is not only quickly translated (200 words only!), but additionally, it's super important.
More than 40 languages are available already. But we want some further outreach here. Many volunteers and the facilitation team have done a lot already, but we'd love to reach out beyond these groups and I really would love to reach out to the Romanian community too. So I want you to ask for your support: Please spend a few minutes on this, it should not be more. We will pick the translations on Friday, so it would be good if it would be finished on Thursday.
Thank you very much for your support! DBarthel (WMF) (talk) 08:19, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
