Steward Election: Congratulations! edit

Congratulations, Andre, on your election to the position of Steward. I am so glad to see you on board. I consider that the contribution that you've made to the Wikipedia project as a whole, in a multitude of languages, is second to none. I'm sure Wikipedia will be the better for having you right at the hub. Davidcannon 23:41, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

ANDRE! HELP! I don't know how to navigate Wiki that well (shitty computer and web connection too) and DESPERATELY NEED SOMEONE'S HELP! I just found out that one of the "administrators" -- Rich Fife-- is one of the vandals who keeps posting smears about me and removing sourced material that makes me look good (which makes the right wing look bad). I can't stop him! This is serious, because I'm a well-known political activist, and Rich is evidently a republican troll trying to help assassinate my character (because the right wing cannot disprove any of my reports about their corruption)! EX: he allows total smears like "the chronically-unemployed Brodeur"----I've had the same job for 10 YEARS now!---and he's very evasive and not honest. WHAT DO I DO???

Announcement re: becoming administrator edit

Hi, this is Mithridates from the Ido Wikipedia, the one in which Artomo has made the reqeust for me to become an administrator. By local announcement, do you mean the 'stando kom sysop' section on my talk page here: http://io.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mithridates (where he told me that he had made the request) or is there a more formal process? I've never been an administrator before so I'm unsure as to the process.

Regards,

Mithridates 03:01, 2 September 2005 (UTC) / io:user:mithridatesReply

It varies from wiki to wiki. What I meant is a place where 'the populace' can see there are plans to make you an administrator, and can vote on it or at least make objections. However, I'll not worry about that for now, and just make you an admin. Nevertheless, it would be good to have some kind of policy on this. The simplest procedure is, I think, posting a message on the local version of the village pump, and giving a certain amount of time (for example a week) for comments. - Andre Engels 08:58, 2 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Andre, would you please look into this? edit

Andre, Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this... but here goes...

Mrmiscellanious has broken these WIKI rules by immediately pulling/editing other's work in an article without first dicussing it on the Talk page. He was supposed to do this as a last resort according the guidelines in the link above. Also, he was not polite in the spirit of WIKINEWS and basically referred to the article as "very, very idiotic".. etc. That is also frowned upon in the WIKINEWS guidelines and it makes me wonder why he even has any administration priviledges.

Now all hell has broken loose, insults were thrown back and forth and the page is locked from editing. Could you please unlock the page and let everyone continue developing the article? I will not try to publish the page myself, but there are others that would like to develop and publish the article as this story grows. I should note that there was some editing beyond my control and mistakes made (like bolding the text) that could influence the NPOV and should be changed. We would have been glad to have made those changes if it wasn't for Mrmiscellanious insulting behavior and heavy-handed, rule-breaking approach to this article in the first place.

But, in the end... I really don't care about what's happened. I'd just like to see this article get developed and eventually published because it's an important piece that I feel will enrich WIKINEWS.

Here is the location of the talk page: here

Mrmiscellanious initial post in question is under the title "So what?". This was the very first contact he made with us after already editing/pulling the article out.

Thank you for your time,

Cow

Bot flags edit

Hey, sorry to bother you. I noticed you have done some of the enwiki bot flags. We have some requests posted, for some time actually, and a few of the other bots have been flagged on other wiki's, just not en. I know there was a period where admin/bot flags could not be set, but was wondering if you could take a look at: Requests_for_permissions#English_Wikipedia_Bots. I wouldn't ask normally, but my bot in particular has been heavily needed lately, and I don't like flooding the RC, and I'm sure the others are used almost as much. I would appreciate it, when you have the time. I am assuming there is not a problem with assigning flags to en bots, as I can see no flags have been set from them on Special:Log/rights for awhile. Updates of Common Interwiki links edit

Hello. I am glad to see your Common Interwiki links, as it really helps a lot for checking which important articles are missed in each versions. I would like to ask two question about that page:

  1. Will you update it in a regular basis?
  2. When will you update it next time?

Thanks for answering my questions. -- Kevinhksouth 15:40, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

  2. I might as well go and work on it now, it should be ready in a few days.

Hi. Is there any chance the list could be updated again? It's been more than half a year since the last update and the list is a great tool for finding important topics not covered in Wikipedias (apart from the list of articles every Wikipedia should have) - if it's up-to-date, of course. Spam Blacklist - www.languedoc-france.info edit

Andre, I'm James McDonald, the webmaster of www.languedoc-france.info. I've been advised that I got added to your spam blacklist and this seems to be true. I checked some of the English links and could not see any that resembled spam. Perhaps you would care to do the same for a random sample to confirm - all the ones I found were good long-standing links. I've contacted a couple of people - overenthusiastic fans - who might be responsible for adding foereign links, and while denying spamming have undertaken not to add any more. In the circumstances I wonder if you would be kind enough to remove my site from your blacklist. Thanks 66.108.0.58 02:01, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Andre I have trying to add this (below) to the Spam Blacklist page (to www.languedoc-france.info) but cannot (apparently because there is a banned link somewhere else on the page). I wonder if you could help. I'll ask AB too. Thanks.

I'm a bit confused by all of this and I suspect that anything I have to say is going to be ignored, but just in case, here are a few observations.
As far as I can see, no-one has produced a single example of spam. The links mentioned were added over years by a small number of people. All of them were good links.
I looked further into the links from Wiki pages in other languages and as far as I can see, they are not spam either. Checking my stats I see for example that visitors from de.wikipedia on average stay for over three minutes and visit four pages. That cannot be a profile for spam links. Again, looking at other foreign languege pages I find that many links are given in the corresponding language. Is it suggested that a single spammer is fluent in over a dozen different languages. It does not sound likely.
I'm wondering if we have different ideas about what constitutes spam. For me a link that improves the page it's on cannot be spam. You seem to believe that the identity of the poster is more relevant than the quality of the link. Suppose a BBC enthusiast posts nmerous good links to the BBC website over several years. Are those links spam? Will you blacklist the BBC? If not, could someone please explain the difference.
On the question of the merry invitation to visitors to add links to Wikipedia. Is this regarded as unacceptable? It is relevant here that www.languedoc-france.info is the leading and most comprehensive and authoritive site on the Languedoc, so people who find it useful might reasonably be invited to add links to Wikipedia. Adding good links benefits both Wikipedia and www.languedoc-france.info. Or is there some rule I don't know about?
As I said, I don't really follow most of the preceding two contributions. I get the impression that they are hostile and intended to suggest that I am responsible for the spamming. I am not a spammer and if I were I suspect I would not be inclined to spamlink only my non-commercial sites, and not one of my commercial ones. It simply would not make sense.
Although I don't really follow the previous contribution it definitely comes over as hostile and the author appears to be attempting to suggest some sort of unpleasant associations. In any case I wonder if it has occured to anyone to consider the possibility that I have acted in good faith throughout. James McDonald 66.108.0.58 00:04, 20 July 2007

Strange Spam attacks designed to blacklist a decent, respectable page or possibly the same "over-eager fan" problem that has plagued the languedoc page? edit

There seems to be somthing very fishy here, don't you think?

Why has the Puerto Rican Independence Party's Wikipedia page been persistently "cleansed" of even the www.independencia.net regardless of whether the link is stripped or not? Also, have you seen the vandalism attacks this Wiki article and its fraternal pages in other languages have consistently suffered?

Have you seen that apparently they are trying to add the Puerto Rican Independence Party's website (independencia.net) to various Wiki pages so it gets "blacklisted"?

Can you please investigate this suspicious matter?

Thanks a million, Andre!!!

They have a chain of contacts to promote their vote and their contacts (friends) vote without common sense, reasoning, good judgment, brains or sagacity; They vote against the person and not against the article.

Less obvious for know, but perhaps as consequential over the long term, is a less participation of some users who TRY CONTRIBUTE to this projects with articles.

Because of this behavior, I decide do not agree with their conduct and I write my point of view in there discussion pages.

I have been block for suspicion of being a sock puppet after a check user. I know I am not a sock puppet, so is impossible the check user be positive.

Several of times, I and other users asked for a check user to my account to dissipate any suspicion about the issue (because they accuse-me to be a sock puppet). But our request was always reject for these (group) users.

However, know, the “group of users” decided to make a “check user”. It is strange and uncommon, because 2 days ago they rejected my check user proposal.

In the past, they admit in their discussion pages, they make a me check user and the check user was inconclusive (this in half-words). Know the result is positive? Is impossible. I know that. I am not a “sock puppet”.

All I ask to Wikimedia foundation is that an administrator check the merits of the block and to verify the check user. Send me the results by email, because is impossible this result.

I think these groups (with administrators) are trying making a fraud to eliminate my participation. Put yourself in my shoes and imagine the frustration.

Hello, I would the page of Bot flag request in Turkish wikipedia. contact me here H wait you. RegardsNobelBot

Hello Andre,

I have just become aware that you have blacklisted our domain learn.shrinktheweb.com due to our relevant posting of our link on the "Thumbnails" page. There is no page dedicated to website thumbnails and I do not know how to create a page, so we posted on the closest related page. That is aside from the fact that it appears you have terminated my account as well (i.e. I cannot login but also cannot join with my username).

In any case, our link was NOT spam and you should reconsider having our site on your blacklist, as it was (and still is) relevant.

I realize that editors for wikipedia are probably volunteers, but it is extremely frustrating to have to spend time like this when it would have taken only a short amount of time to verify that our link was relevant. In a worst case, we could have been notified that it would be more relevant on a newly created page, which I could have spent some time to write, if shown instructions how.

Brandon

I'm sorry, but "there was no page on X so we put our link on Y instead" shows to me that you wanted to get your link onto Wikipedia rather than get a link onto the page to a relevant site. Unfortunately there are many people doing so, but when it gets too obvious is goodbye. I have spent the small amount of time you mention, and concluded that there was little or no relevant content. It is all just an advertisement for your (undoubtedly good) Internet service. I wish you all the luck with it, but Wikipedia is not an advertizing medium. - Andre Engels 09:13, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

   'ar': u'استيراد تلقائي للمقالات',
                                                       ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Is this version dependent or do I just need a differently formated copy of pagefromfile.py? Thanks!

I don't know - I have not used pagefromfile for years, nor do I know anyone else who has. Sorry to not be able to help you. - Andre Engels 13:37, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Beste Andre,

- Andre Engels 13:35, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Common Interwiki links - update? edit

Could you, please, update the list? A year is quite a long time - many articles has been written, many interwikis added... The list itself is quite useful and there's a discussion on Polish village pump expressing an interest in it. Lampak 15:36, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm... You're right... I should be doing that... Hopefully I think of it later this week when I have a bit of time to start it up (I will have to rewrite the program, which is not very much work, but still some, then my computer can run it on its own). - Andre Engels 07:17, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

QingdaoChinaGuide.com edit

Can someone please review QingdaoChinaGuide.com and remove it from the wikimedia blacklist? I want to add an information page to wikipedia, like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/That%27s_Beijing but found that it was on the wikimedia black-list. Not quite sure how it go there. Perhaps this site has been a victim of some black-hat seo tactics by competitors that got it blacklisted a few years ago -- who knows?. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The reason for blocking is at http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Spam_blacklist&oldid=998617#thatsqingdao.2C_etc. I personally am not much tempted to remove the ban at this moment. - Andre Engels 22:48, 3 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikispecies checkuser edit

First of all, on behalf of Wikispecies, we thank you for running the checkuser on the vandal. Could you tell me if the range 198.36.23.0/24 (provided by you) will cause any collateral blocks? We need to know how many registered users (aside from the vandals). We also need to know the number of IP users affected should a rangeblock be used since about 1 in 10 edits (ballpark figure) in Wikispecies are done by IPs and majority of these edits are constructive. Also, can you double check the result? One of the username provided by you is Fat Pauly but it is not registered. OhanaUnitedTalk page 18:32, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

  1. Apart from The Animal Man there are no edits, neither logged in nor ip, from the mentioned range, at least not in the period of time that we can look back with checkuser (about 3 months).
  2. The username 'Fat Pauly' should have been 'FatPauly'.
- Andre Engels 23:15, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
This vandal just started in December so I think we can safely do a rangeblock and that should solve the problem (unless he starts using proxy). How to do rangeblock? OhanaUnitedTalk page 06:37, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
As far as I know, it's simply blocking using the range as I wrote it above rather than username or ip number. But I am not 100% sure, because I haven't done any blocks recently. - Andre Engels 21:27, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
So at the block interface, I just enter "198.36.23.0/24"? OhanaUnitedTalk page 03:20, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes. - Andre Engels 08:32, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Either the range block didn't work, or he found another way to circumvent it. This time he came back under the name of species:User:BenCurtis45.[5] Can you run a CU just on this account? OhanaUnitedTalk page 04:48, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Greetings edit

Greetings, I am User:Edgar Allan Poe from the Croatian Wikipedia project. Recently, during the last couple of months, I have been having constant trouble with one user usurping my work, reverting my edits and constantly starting editor wars because of his own opinion which is, somehow, more important than mine. I have appealed several times, but he seems to have some kind of protection from some of the administrators resulting in me losing nerves, wasting time I could have used to write articles and being a fool every time. Since I am new here on Meta, I would just like to ask if there is, and if yes, where and how, a possibility of a formal complaint to the Stewards (or anyone else that is in charge of problems that cannot be solved on Wikipedia itself) which would then be resolved via Meta or Wikipedia. Any form of assistance would be extremely useful. Thank you in advance --Edgar Allan Poe 15:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You could try opening a Request for comment; I have no idea how likely that is to help in resolution though. - Andre Engels 08:29, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please Help Korean WIKI edit

Ko.wikipedia.org (Wikipedia in Korean) is very crucially damaged due to korean administer.

It is considered that Korea Goverment employed them and enforced to delete every thread that has somewhat opposite point of view with korea goverment regardless of contents of thread.

I wrote a thread, that the goverment might want to delete.

and my account was just banned. Korean Administer didn't explain anything that is related to my ban.

They just banned.

they banned my account for 1 months just my thread is against to goverment although my thread is just based on only FACTS.

I see that the thread of "LEE MYUNG BAK" (president of REPUBLIC OF KOREA, my country) is modified.

all things that is critics of him is delected. and just positive explanation is remained which is written by

supporters of Lee Myung Bak (The president of Korea)

Administer, please contact me. please reply my account.

Korean goverment tried to control internet, and they acted a "media law" that intended to censor all the contents in internet.

I'm sure that in several months, all the threads that goverment doesn't like will be delected by Korean administer employed by goverment.

please help me. In korea, television media has been already controlled by goverment.

please. please.

Korea is a democratic country. I want my country Korea to remain democratic... please.

If Wiki will be controlled depending on goverment's view point, all the internet world in korea will be censored by dictator Lee Myung Bak...

Internet world of korea will resemble just that of CHINA OR IRAN OR NORTH KOREA...

I'm sure that Wiki want all the internet world to be free.

Request edit

Dear Steward, I am a Wikipedia contributor in the Portuguese language and am requesting your intervention in the project. There exists among us a tremendous amount of intrigue, harassment, personal threats, inadequate block, clash of egos and power abuses. I can not stand such injustice, so many users with destructive behavior, so much political intrigue and partiality in administrators. The new users are intimidated and abandon the project, edit wars proliferate and the bad users trying to silence their opponents with lock requests without foundation. Users with bad behavior are protected by administrators and users who try to expose corruption are blocked. The rule is trying to impose views and threaten to block those who disagree with arbitrariness. I am tired. This project is broken, please dismisses administrators and cancel their arbitrary actions, otherwise the credibility of Wikipedia is extinguished. Thank you.

PS: sorry for my bad english. Leandro LV 05:53, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I believe I was blocked inappropriately edit

Good evening. I got the message below when I tried to edit the event in Phoenix, Arizona. I believe that I was blocked illegally, or at a minimum, without being given a warning or the specific details of the charges against me. Someone from Directrix Computing Solutions simply stated:

"Please note that this is an event to celebrate Wikipedia, will have activities surrounding that end, but is also catered toward a business crowd. If you are in the Phoenix valley and wish to celebrate this event in a different manner, please setup a different event. To setup your own event, please click this link: http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organize or click the 'Organize' link located to the left of this text. If you are not associated with the planning crew for this event, please do not update this information. Thank you."

Someone else who was not an administrator then deleted his event. In my opinion, Chris Warrington has as much right to set up a Wikipedia event as anyone else. Can you please inform me of the specific violation that I committed? Additionally, I think that the following is also vandalism http://ten.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Phoenix,_AZ&diff=prev&oldid=7907:

"Your username or IP address has been blocked.

The block was made by MZMcBride. The reason given is inappropriate behavior.

Yes, it just hadn't been redirected to my main e-mail account as expected. At any rate the user confessed that it was him, but I requested another check regarding this, so could you do it please ? The thing is somebody has been harassing other users and playing games for about last three years and we can't get to the bottom of this as they've been careful to hide their tracks. The main suspect was user Krishjaanis and possibly Zemgalietis, who supposedly knows him in real life, but then there is GreenZeb and Edgars2007, who claim they know each other in real life, GreenZeb clearly has been up to know good, but it is hard to tell what's up with his buddy ~~Xil...(talk) 23:29, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
As I said in Latvian Wikipedia, Feens Atgriezies is my account and all other relevant accounts to. I have been vandalising Wikipedia for years so that's only me. Please, do not check other users. They are not guilty. The only user that needs to be punished is me. You can give me infinite block. Thanks! --GreenZeb (talk) 10:28, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Look, I don't know how Meta works, but can we get a steward who investigates this? Checkuser requests take some time to get fulfilled and the answers we get don't really help to solve the mystery. For example, checkuser contradicts what GreenZeb himself is saying that it is his account. ~~Xil...(talk) 17:45, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Bruno Leonard and Lacerda Bahia edit

Hi, in response to your message at my talk page in ptwiki. The two are well known sockpuppeteers at ptwiki, repeatedly blocked, and apparently at "war" with each other. They are each trying to extend the block of the other, even trying to manipulate and incite [6] new users to do the same (a 9 year old, in this case). I blocked the sockpuppets discovered in the previous check, but I am also not sure what to do next. GoEThe 12:29, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sometimes when people (including me) see something that is not working good, they can easily make their criticisms. Much more rare is to praise someone for a good job. So, as I recently have criticized some checks with no clear reasons, now I have to congratulate you for your statement here. It's not because of your agreement, but mainly because of your responsible manner of treating this request. Congrats. CasteloBrancomsg 19:38, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Running checkuser on wiki with active CUs edit

Hello,

You ran checkuser on Persian Wikipedia (fa.wikipedia) where we have two active checkusers. I believe this is against the policies for checkusers run by stewards. You could have also looked at the logs there to see that a similar check was performed by our CUs on Feb 29th.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you should be very careful not to use CU rights in wikis with active CUs.

Regards,

Night of the Big Wind 21:39, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oh no, it was edit waring. It wasn't "Unconfirmed reports of battle" and things like that; but the change of the name of the article and also the entire layout of the article was happening at a rapid speed. You have infoboxes being taken out, redone, revamped. As for the length of protection time; indefinite is the default protection time and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Protection_policy#Content_disputes says pages should be locked like that until consensus is achieved or a certain time period has elapsed. Please move this discussion to Wikipedia, for example on the discussion page of the page in question. I nor any other Steward will de-admin Zscout370 unless you can point us to an official de-adminship procedure that succeeded (or at least a clear consensus among a large group of users from en: Wikipedia that this should happen). Hi!

You signed up on Wikidata/Volunteers to help with the Interwiki to Wikidata transition. I wanted to get back to you about that. Have you already tried the demo? We are getting closer to an initial roll-out on the first Wikipedia and it'd be great if you could give it a try. Please do let me know about any problems you encounter. Thanks for your help :)

Common Interwiki links (2014) edit

Hello. I notice that Common Interwiki links has not been updated for years. Is it no longer available? Is there any other source which provides similar information? Thanks. --Flowerdon (talk) 04:02, 20 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

The code is lost in some or other hard disk crash. I recently found something similar, based on a database query on wikidata (a logical way to go), but it was restricted in the number of pages it found, and lost (in my opinion) a lot in usability because it also included categories. Can't find it at the moment though. - Andre Engels (talk) 19:38, 21 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Letter petitioning WMF to reverse recent decitions edit

The Wikimedia Foundation recently created a new feature, "superprotect" status. The purpose is to prevent pages from being edited by elected administrators -- but permitting WMF staff to edit them. It has been put to use in only one case: to protect the deployment of the Media Viewer software on German Wikipedia, in defiance of a clear decision of that community to disable the feature by default, unless users decide to enable it.

If you oppose these actions, please add your name to this letter. If you know non-Wikimedians who support our vision for the free sharing of knowledge, and would like to add their names to the list, please ask them to sign an identical version of the letter on change.org.

I'm notifying you because you participated in one of several relevant discussions. -Pete F (talk) 21:59, 20 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Russian wikipedia edit

Hi. I recently noticed that Russian wikipedia reloads all its pages twice (on any of windows browers). As a consequence, the number of visits is artificially doubled. Could you please check this out. And if possible, tell me where I can report it. --217.21.43.22 08:40, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't know how to help you with that. - Andre Engels (talk) 21:11, 14 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Global bot edit

This message is being left on your talk page at Meta-Wiki and those of your home wiki(s). Sorry for the duplicates.

Dear global bot operator: Some days ago you received a message in which you were informed that one or various accounts you hold lost a global bot flag because of inactivity. Due to a mistake, messages informing about this were not sent before removal took place as policy mandates. As such, if you think your bot will be active again on global bot duties, you can request the restoration of the global bot flag on the stewards' noticeboard at Meta-Wiki within the next two (2) weeks after this message has been posted. Please note that this removal was purely procedural based on inactivity. If you have any questions, you can reach me on my talk page at Meta-Wiki. Please accept my apologies in advance for this. Best regards. -- MediaWiki message delivery (talk) on behalf of MarcoAurelio at 18:11, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

This is a reminder to acknowledge and sign the new Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information. As you know, your volunteer role in Wikimedia projects gives you access to secure and sensitive information.

The new version includes one major change.

  • There is a change regarding the way personal data may be released. Accordingly, functionaries must notify the Wikimedia Foundation at check-disclosure wikimedia.org before releasing data, in order to obtain a written approval for doing so. The Foundation will respond within 10 days. However, for emergencies, such as cases involving threats of violence, functionaries may release the personal data without such explicit permission, but they should notify the Foundation immediately following the disclosure. If they choose not to disclose the data, the request for disclosure should be forwarded to the Foundation's emergency email address (emergency wikimedia.org).

There are also some wording changes that were made to more closely align the language with evolving industry norms, best practices and laws. The most notable of these has been the change of the term "nonpublic information" to "nonpublic personal data". None of these changes are intended to make fundamental changes to the scope or practice of the policy but we know they could appear as such, hence wanted to flag them.

The aforementioned changes require users that have already signed the previous version of the policy to sign the new version as well.

We therefore ask that you to sign the updated version. Signing the agreement is tracked on Phabricator's Legalpad. An online guide is available to help you with signing the agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign. If you wish you can sign it directly at https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/L37. The exact policy is located here: Access to nonpublic personal data policy. The text of the confidentiality agreement is located here: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information

If you have already received this message and signed the updated agreement, you need not sign it again. Once is sufficient. In this case, we ask that you respond to Samuel (WMF) letting him know when (date) and how (method/process of signing) you have signed it so that we can update our own records.

Note: please bear in mind that if you still haven’t signed the updated version of the Confidentiality Agreement by February 13, 2019 your rights will be removed.

Thank you for your understanding,

Samuel Guebo (User:Samuel (WMF)), Wikimedia Foundation
