Dear all, here I am asking for adminship right for the purpose of housekeeping tasks as I won't have to bother other admins about deleting test/off-topic pages. I am contributing here mainly Chapter, local community and related event/project pages. Since Meta isn't much active as like Wikipedia or Commons, so you may found my activity here lower than the other projects. I have been registered here since July 2013, and till then I have made over a thousand edits so far. Alongside currently, I am working for the Wikimedia's Global renamer' and OTRS team. If in case anyone cares, I have administrator rights on Wikimedia Commons, Bengali Wikipedia, Bengali Wikivoyage, and also active on several other projects, like Wikipedia, Wikidata, and sometimes in SWMT (as SWMT member). All of my contributions to Wikimedia projects can be found via CentralAuth. Thanks, everyone! ~Moheen (keep talking) 15:18, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Have good experience as an active sysop on several wikis, thanks for your contributions. Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 15:34, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
Support per above. --Krd 15:41, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Switching to Oppose per the candidate's comment below, requesting admin rights mostly for own ends. --Krd 06:56, 26 February 2019 (UTC)- Of-course! Kind regards, — Tulsi Bhagat (contribs | talk) 16:23, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
Support looks good. — xaosflux Talk 16:38, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Neutral stepping back after additional information from some of the opposers. — xaosflux Talk 15:09, 26 February 2019 (UTC)- Support trusted and active here. TonyBallioni (talk) 19:49, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- Neutral With only 6 edits on Meta in 2019 and not a strong rationale I can't support, but the candidate has other sysop experience including at Commons so I can't oppose. --Rschen7754 21:20, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

- 3 edits in this year prior to making this request? This is a joke, right? not funny --MF-W 22:41, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- @MF-Warburg: That assertion is incorrect, I can see many edits from Sep '18... Leaderboard (talk) 22:47, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- "this year" refers to 2019, not the past 365 days. Vermont (talk) 02:20, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

- Support Have all the needed skill, especially with recent Nahidsultan activity with new Bengali speaker become admin it will fill the empty spot for bengali speaker. All I can see is net positive.--AldNonymousBicara? 02:32, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Not now. Stated reason is housekeeping but Special:DeletedContributions/Moheen shows the requestor has never been active in that area to me. Perhaps later. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 09:22, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
NeutralPer below.--Cohaf (talk) 11:04, 25 February 2019 (UTC){{s}}
.On basis that more hands will be good anyway and they seems trusty enough not to break anything.--Cohaf (talk) 09:43, 25 February 2019 (UTC)- Not now per MA and some of MF-W. Your xwiki activity seems more related to commons move and rename requests. At meta, I see next to no activity in namespaces where we are working administratively, nor participation in discussions about meta, and no indication on your administrative skills or where you expect to use them. Looking at your admin activity at Commons, it doesn't show activity in the defensive spaces most utilised here (abuselogs, blocks, deletions, spam.) You're right that we are a different type of wiki, and your activity and interests seem different to meta, so I am not understanding the motivation for the request. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:38, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Comment I give the value for your significant opinion. But as I said above, I am seeking this right for the purpose of housekeeping tasks. You know, currently, we have 7 local communities under the Wikimedia Bangladesh. As we have discucesed previously (internal mailing list) to keep all the related pages on our Wikimedia site (in Bengali and English also). So as a part of this series deletion I have to request for speedy deletion more then 100 pages. And all of them are obviously uncontroversial deletion. Don't you think it will bother other admins about deleting test/off-topic pages? But it's already bothered me to do so. As per my long term administrative experience on several Wikimedia projects I never misused the administrative tools and I alwase try to keep so. Also I have upcoming projects like Bengali-German Community Exchange Program, and there are many things gonna change, like deleting test/off-topic pages. But I don't want to waste much time to making the same request. In addition, currently there is only admin from the Bengali community. I also would like to reduce his stress. Thanks. ~Moheen (keep talking) 17:05, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Perhaps applying for (indefinite?) "limited adminship" restricted to Wikimedia Bangladesh-related pages would solve the issue? I agree with the opposers, that full adminship without much involvement in the Meta community should not be granted under normal circumstances. --Vogone (talk) 17:17, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

- Support Trusted user who is already a global renamer and administrator in large projects such as Commons. I see no reason to distrust that he will do a good job and that he will be prudent in controversial matters. —AlvaroMolina (✉ - ✔) 17:30, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

- I cannot support someone for Meta admin with such limited activity and involvement in Meta discussions/processes. – Ajraddatz (talk) 20:40, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose I'm very sorry. While you are a very good candidate otherwise, I'll have to agree with those who think that it's too early. You do indeed have limited activity here, and being a Meta admin will require a degree of familiarity with the project. There is little evidence that limited adminship is the best fit for you either. Leaderboard (talk) 22:29, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
