I have been active on Wikimedia projects since December 28, 2010, since then 14 years, 3 months and 30 days have passed.
Affiliated with the Wikimedia movement, I contribute to Wikimedia Bangladesh through both online and offline activities. I’ve been a Board Member since 2016 and serve as Treasurer for the 2024-2025 term. I formed the Chattogram Wikimedia Community in 2014, the first regional community of Wikimedia Bangladesh, supporting the expansion of Wikimedia projects in greater Chattogram.
If anyone cares, I have administrator rights on Bengali Wikipedia since April 2015 (verify) and Wikimedia Commons since April 2017 (verify), with 200K+ edits across all Wikimedia projects. My on-wiki contributions are accessible via CentralAuth, and off-wiki work can be found on the Outreach page. Currently, I’m a member of the Wikimedia Volunteer Response Team (VRT).
In 2021-22, I served as an Ombudsman commission member for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. My past roles include OTRS personnel (2017–October 21, 2021), Global renamer (August 24, 2017–July 9, 2022), and Local Ambassador for Wikipedia to the Moon (2016). I was also a Google Code-in Mentor for Wikimedia in 2019 and a local organizer for Wiki Loves Earth Bangladesh, Wiki Loves Monuments Bangladesh and Wikipedia Asian Month.
Hailing from Bangladesh, I’m also involved with Creative Commons Bangladesh, OpenStreetMap community, and Google Local Guides community.
