Olá, Stanglavine. Desculpe te incomodar com outra mensagem sobre socks/meat e long-term abusers, mas como você tem muita experiência com abusadores cross-wiki e edita na pt.WP, ou seja, está familiarizado com as questões de lá, resolvi te mandar essa mensagem. Eu, recentemente, coloquei o artigo BreakTudo Awards para eliminação na en.WP. É a segunda vez que o artigo é colocado para AfD e como na primeira vez, a votação é logo povoada por socks e meats tentando defender a manutenção do mesmo. Isso ocorreu, acredito que você saiba, também na pt.WP quando o artigo foi eliminado. E, aliás, ainda ocorre já que esse grupo continua a tentar criar artigos na pt.WP (muitos deles, inclusive, tiveram que ser protegidos contra recriação) e usar a WP como plataforma de divulgação. Eu tenho quase certeza (já que conheço o caso) de que a maioria dessas contas ou são socks, ou meats. Tanto é assim, que quase todas as contas que votaram "keep" são novas contas, muitas com claro comportamento destrutivo. Contudo, não sei como "pegar" esses "vândalos" cross-wiki. Quando consigo "juntar provas" em uma Wiki específica eu abro um SPI naquela própria Wiki (como fiz no Commons e na en.WP), mas nesse caso específico não sei direito o que fazer. @SirEdimon: Olá, se estiver ocorrendo abuso em ambos os projetos você pode abrir investigações nos dois e listar as provas em cada pedido, não há problema em "duplicar", as vezes é até bom porque conseguimos cruzar informações. Você pode também mencionar no pedido que há o mesmo problema em outra wiki porque assim os verificadores podem estabelecer uma colaboração entre si (é bastante comum nesses casos). Se for um projeto no qual não há checkusers, aí você pode usar SRCU, mas nesses projetos maiores o ideal é abrir investigações em cada um. I can't do that without VPN because I was working for some articles without References or any External link. Não sei se você viu (acredito que sim já que você é checkuser) que há alguns dias atrás houve a descoberta de um grande número de fantoches ligados a um dos principais LTA da pt.WP. Algumas contas eram antigas e participavam de vários projetos da WMF. Será que não seria o caso de bloquear globalmente essas contas?. Obrigado por responder. A questão é que esses socks eram muito ativos, inclusive, em outros projetos da WMF e, principalmente, no Commons. A conta "O revolucionário aliado", por exemplo, é "autropatroller" no Commons. Essas contas participavam de processos de eliminação de arquivos no Commons. Essa é minha preocupação. Você acha então que não haveria problema em deixar essas contas desbloqueadas em outros projetos? Te pergunto porque sei que você é bastante experiente em combate a vandalismo transwiki. How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Thanks for the ping. I'd keep his permissions, considering that he asked the community and no one objected. Considering that the wiki is not very active, a no-reply sounds like something "expectable" to me. If in doubt, we could always refer the case back to the local community. Dear Stanglavine. I saw that you blocked me because I use a proxy. This happened because I sometimes edit Wikipedia on my work laptop which is connected to the company's network. Thank you very much for unblocking me, much appreciated. I still have two questions:

1. Does this exempt mean that even if I use my work computer again I would not get blocked anymore?
2. I still appear to be blocked on some platforms. I'm no longer blocked on the Ladin Wikipedia or the German Wikipedia, but I am still blocked here on this platform. I had to use my phone to write this reply as when using my laptop I am still blocked. I am also blocked on the English Wikipedia.

1) Yes, except in some projects (like English Wikipedia). In these projects global exemptions have almost no effect, so to edit there using your work computer you will need to request a local exempt directly there.

2) About Meta-Wiki (this platform), my fault here, sorry. Already fixed. About English Wikipedia, see above.

Troublesome Aragonese Wikipedia images

In this edit you seem to approve images uploaded to Aragonese Wikipedia that clearly (to me at least) violate the Wikimedia Licensing Policy. This is being discussed at this RfC.
