Translation Edit

Hello Meenakshi nandhini, I noticed your high score in the Ukraine challenge and was quite impressed. I've been working around 6 hours a day and only have about 300 points. What tools are you using to translate language and code for content, infoboxes, images, etc. and complete articles so quickly? What is your general work process? Thank you. Thank you for participation in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month! Edit

Hi, Meenakshi nandhini!

Thank you very much for participating in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month! My apologies for not sending this message sooner – but be assured, your contributions are very valuable!
The organisers welcome you participation. We hope you had fun! Some users faced the notability issues of the suggested articles; we recognise that the list of suggested articles wasn't flawless.
The project is not ended until all worthy participants receive their souvenirs! There will be another message from the organising team soon about this.
Stay safe, we appreciate you being a Wikipedian that you are   -- ViraMotorko (WMUA) (talk) 09:37, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Invitation to participate in Universal Code of Conduct survey - WikiWomen's User Group Edit

(You are receiving this message as you signed your interest to participate as part of the WikiWomen's User Group)

Hello, my name is Mervat Salman, a UCoC Facilitator, Trust and Safety team.

As you know, the WMF Board of Trustees ratified the Universal Code of Conduct early in February. That's the beginning; the policy itself cannot be used if the enforcement pathways are not defined. The implementation and enforcement of the UCoC requires the continuous cooperation to define clear definitions of enforcement pathways and processes. This needs to be done in a way that does not contradict with the internal bylaws and codes of conduct currently in place, but rather to support them and complement their deficiencies, if any.

In this phase of the process, we would like to invite you to share your ideas, thoughts and concerns about the UCoC implementation, reporting and enforcement pathways using this survey:

Notice: This survey will be conducted via a third-party service, which may subject it to additional terms. For more information on privacy and data-handling, see the survey privacy statement <https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/UCoC_Affiliates_Survey_Privacy_Statement>.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact msalman-ctr@wikimedia.org.

Best regards,

Mervat (WMF) 17:00, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022 invitation Edit

Dear Wikipedian!

You received this message because you participated in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2021. Without your contribution, the challenge would not have been so successful.

This year Wikimedia Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Ukrainian Institute, has launched the second edition of writing challenge "Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month", which lasts from 17 February to 17 March 2022. The campaign is dedicated to famous Ukrainian artists of cinema, music, literature, architecture, design and cultural phenomena of Ukraine that made a contribution to world culture.

I would like to invite you to participate again in this writing challenge! We have updated the list of suggested articles and announced new prizes for contestants to keep interest in different fields of Ukrainian culture. I hope to hear from you soon!-- ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 08:57, 17 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for participation in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022! Edit

Dear participant!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for participating in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022! We are grateful for your willingness to share free knowledge about the people and culture of Ukraine when it is needed the most.

As promised, the organizers want to appreciate your contribution by awarding you a certificate of participation. Please wait for further notifications from me on that issue.

What comes to prizes: because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there could be delays in shipping, however, we will definitely get back soon with more information on that.

Take care and stay safe.-- ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 09:18, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello Edit

Namaste Meenakshi! Thank you for creating an article ml:ലിസിപ്രിയ കങ്കുജം in Malayalam wikipedia. I saw "ലിസിപ്രിയ കങ്കുജം" being transliterated as "Lisipriya Kankujam". Her given name spelling in Malayalam seems to be ok (according to pronunciation that I checked through Google Translate). However, her surname കങ്കുജം (being transliterated as well as pronounced as "Kankujam") is actually not correct. I don't know Malayalam script. However, I know Devanagari script. In Devanagari script, her surname should be like this: "काङूजम्" (Kaa-Ngoo-Jam). The letter "ङ" ("nga") isn't frequently used in Indic languages (Indo-Aryan & Dravidian), but it's very frequently used in Licipriya Kangujam's mother tongue - Meitei language (Aka Manipuri language), a Sino-Tibetan language of India. If possible, please move the article's name, by replacing appropriate "ङ" sound carrying Malayalam letter! It's exact Meitei script transliteration is "ꯀꯥꯉꯨꯖꯝ" (Kaa-Ngoo-Jam)(You can have a look at Google Translate for Meitei also). Regards! --Haoreima (talk) 10:23, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Haoreima: Thank you for the information. I have already change the name's spelling. now the name let's read that ml:ലിസിപ്രിയ കാങൂജം.--Meenakshi nandhini (talk) 02:06, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you. --Haoreima (talk) 02:54, 21 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
