--Kaganer (talk) 19:46, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Чесстно говоря, впервые слышу про "память переводов". В том переводе было много повторяющихся фраз, я их копировал вручную.
- Спасибо исправление ошибки и предостережение.--Iluvatar (talk) 07:29, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
--Kaganer (talk) 07:54, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Global CSS/JS migration
editHello Iluvatar. You have global scripts in global.js, which you import using your local CSS/JS pages. Since August 2014, your global.js and global.css pages are loaded automatically on all wikis. Since you already import them yourself, you may experience script errors or tools being added twice. Do you want me to remove the global imports from your local pages using Synchbot (without touching other scripts)? —Pathoschild 02:02, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi again! I haven't heard back from you, so I'll assume you don't want to do this. Feel free to leave me a message or add a Synchbot request if you change your mind. :) —Pathoschild 16:51, 09 January 2016 (UTC)

SWViewer
editThank you for this tool; it's very useful in x-wiki anti-vandalism work. I'm also very happy with the recent update, although I noticed that, relatively frequently, it will not show any edits at all. This is an issue with both me and other users I'm aware of. Do you know the cause of this, or a way to fix it? Thanks, Vermont (talk) 14:02, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Vermont: Thanks. New changes can stop displayed directly during use? Or only after loading app?
- Please, when this happens next time:
- open the browser console. Are there any errors?
- check this link. (if this service is down, then SWViewer will not work).—Iluvatar (talk) 16:23, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- Seems to be working now. The next time it happens I'll do what you wrote above. Vermont (talk) 15:19, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
SWViewer edit
editHi. I posted this at the Stewards' noticeboard, but Billinghurst suggested I ask you directly, sorry. At Special:OAuthListConsumers/view/95cd4df71d31248d80199a8359e03044, can the description (currently: "App to view recent changes on small wikis for SWMT. Diffs, whitelist, quick reverts, etc. See ru:User:Iluvatar/SWViewer.") be changed to: "App to view recent changes on small wikis for SWMT. Diffs, whitelist, quick reverts, etc. See m:SWViewer."? Currently, ru:User:Iluvatar/SWViewer is an interwiki redirect to m:SWViewer. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 23:32, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. Unfortunately, owners cannot edit description of the apps after publish. See also my reply on noticeboard.—Iluvatar (talk) 23:58, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

Block in Turkish Wikipedia
editHello, I'm Ahmet Turhan from Turkish Wikipedia. I have been contributing to Turkish Wikipedia for about 6 years. In this process, I have contributed more than 60,000. created more than 1000 article, 8 featured article (5 in progress), 3 good article (3 in progress). Plus I formulated and joined a lot of Wikipedia projects. I have also written Wikipedia essays, information pages and guidelines based on my own experiences on Wikipedia, which I have contributed for years. There were still articles and projects I worked with. Therefore, I think I know Wikipedia policies and guidelines. There are all my contribution.
Also, I saw that you are from Belarus, I opened in trwiki many Belarusian articles, and wrote my own self featured articles (for example tr:Beyaz Rusya arması, tr:Beyaz Rusya Cumhuriyeti Devlet Marşı, and still discussing articles: tr:Beyaz Rusya bayrağı (here) and tr:Beyaz Rusya devlet sembolleri (here) See these as a contribution to your country.
Today, I was unfairly blocked by User:Mskyrider for 5 years. User:Camouflaged Mirage told me to write to a sysops.
The background of the subject is as follows;
I have been contributing to the articles about the Soviet Union as a hobby for years in Wikipedia. At the beginning of 2017, I created a comprehensive complaint content that I was intensely attacked by a user named User:Maurice Flesier. It can be seen here. The content of this complaint was: insist on personal comments, harassment in the summary of changes, personal insults on the discussion pages of various articles, etc. Since then, the whole community has known its problem with me. For this reason, he has received often warnings and blocked. It can be seen here. A discussion with this user started again yesterday in article tr:Diktatör. He put the images of Hitler and Stalin in the article, and I reverse it by telling it to be discussed first by en:WP:BRD. And I wrote my reason on the discussion page. It was that: "Direct identification has been made, Such definitions should not be made from Wikipedia. Let the reader decide." Then he became aggressive and wrote the following comment on the article's discussion page: "Keep your bullshit trials for yourself and try to be a little neutral. In the meantime, take a look at how the tracking works Mskyrider." Just after, Maurice Flesier reported that I am not neutral, and therefore I should be stopped.
On the other hand, there were smear attempts of Mskyrider again for myself. It can be seen here. The majority of the community said that he was wrong here. Since then, I think he has hostility towards me. While doing this, I argue that he used his administrator power.
Due to these harassment and controversy, the fetured topics and articles I tried to create on Wikipedia have stopped. (here all of this).
As a user who has given my years to Wikipedia, I know that this barrier has been given unfairly, and that the community deserves me in such discussions. I see that Mskyrider has been blocking me for 5 years with his grudge against me. I request re-thinking his administrative qualifications with the community, the decision of the obstacle given to me be consulted by the community, discussion with other administrator and unblocking.
I wrote it here because I can't even change my own message page because of the ban type. Can you help me?
Thanks and have nice work. --Ahmet Turhan (talk) 17:55, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!
18:26, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!
