Importation et rdv edit

Un anthropologue venu des pères blancs

Bonjour Florence,

Bien à toi, Lionel Scheepmans Contact French native speaker, sorry for my dysorthography 20:20, 28 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

D'accord sur le principe. Je suis là cette semaine là. Ecris de préférence à fdevouard ((@)) anthere.org Anthere (talk)

Withdrawal of the Wiki Droits Humains Grant application edit

Hi Anthere. Thank you for endorsing WDH grant application. Due to the covid19, I decided to withdraw it for the moment (the budget mostly aimed to organize offline events we aren'ty able to organise yet with this crise), until we are in a better position and situation to make it happen. We will still have some few activities online. We will let you know the follow-ups on the project page Wiki Droits Humains on wikipédia fr. --Tonpseudo (talk) 08:54, 31 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Questionnaire invitation (a new tool to be developed, to verify media data) edit

Hi there, I'm developing a tool to assist users in verifying (structured) data of media on commons.

To understand the community's needs, I would like to invite you to participate in this questionnaire: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScbNdJdQYN1yBvEeKne48eWDU6SBsdlUfNBAmZyvUEBkCR1Gg/viewform?usp=sf_link. It should take ~2 minutes.

Thanks a lot. :D

(You received this message as you seems to have experience with structured data on Wikimedia projects.)

RFD edit

Hello Anthere. I hope that you're okay. I am messaging you because I've opened this request for deletion regarding some old proposed Wikipedia logos that 10 years ago you tagged as {{GFDL-presumed}}. The uploader removed those tags last year and replaced them with {{no source}}, so their copyright status is unclear now. Best regards. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:50, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to participate in Universal Code of Conduct survey - WikiWomen's User Group edit

(You are receiving this message as you signed your interest to participate as part of the WikiWomen's User Group)

Hello, my name is Mervat Salman, a UCoC Facilitator, Trust and Safety team.

As you know, the WMF Board of Trustees ratified the Universal Code of Conduct early in February. That's the beginning; the policy itself cannot be used if the enforcement pathways are not defined. The implementation and enforcement of the UCoC requires the continuous cooperation to define clear definitions of enforcement pathways and processes. This needs to be done in a way that does not contradict with the internal bylaws and codes of conduct currently in place, but rather to support them and complement their deficiencies, if any.

In this phase of the process, we would like to invite you to share your ideas, thoughts and concerns about the UCoC implementation, reporting and enforcement pathways using this survey:

Notice: This survey will be conducted via a third-party service, which may subject it to additional terms. For more information on privacy and data-handling, see the survey privacy statement <https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/UCoC_Affiliates_Survey_Privacy_Statement>.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact msalman-ctr@wikimedia.org.

Best regards,

Mervat (WMF) 17:00, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Anthere, I don't know if you remember me, I am the user which you have spoken to about the offline project. I don't have much time, but I want to help you, even if it is with something simple. Where can I start? Best regards, Gauri 23:04, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Can you help with that edit

We applied for a project and updated its content, I think changing the name of the project needs higher authority than we have Maram ali ahmed Maram ali ahmed (talk) 11:45, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Renaming the page ? I think you should be able to do that; but if you can not find how, I can fix that for you. What's the new project name you want ? @Maram ali ahmed: Anthere (talk) 16:06, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I did use the move option I think that this is the best available option The new name is sudanese content on Wikimedia 2021 Thanks for your comment Maram ali ahmed (talk) 16:35, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Great. Now let's hope it works !!! Anthere (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:42, 11 April 2021 (UTC).Reply

Hola!! edit

Hi Florence!!
I've started with the translation of the first page
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiFundi/es

About the new pages, the first problem is that it is written in masculine and it would be better to use inclusive language. Welcome: Te damos la bienvenida it is not marked sex or gender but "Bienvenido" it is for the male. I think it is important to use inclusive language if possible. Language is important from a gender perspective and in the Spanish language it is very evident. The language it's important to fight gender gap.

This page should be named Bienvenida not Bienvenidos https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiFundi/2021/WikiFundi:Bienvenidos In any case I have reviewed the translation in spanish language of the Portada and Bienvenidos

Anything else?
Congratulations on the project
Regards
--Mboix (talk) 22:29, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Good point. Yes, let's try to get it gender neutral ! Let me rename that Bienvenido page and fix the link. There might be other pages to review for inclusive language as well. We are currently working on the userguide. I'd love to send it to you so that you can check the language inclusivity as well. Fine by you ?
