Hi all! Today it's my pleasure to nominate someone for adminship on meta whom most of the people who are around little longer will remember. I'm happy to introduce Az1568 (talk · contribs) to you. He used to be an admin on this project quite some years ago and was also one of our bureaucrats. In April 2012, he has been removed for inactivity while he was working for the WMF.

Now that Az1568 is back and actively tagging pages for deletion (admin only), I think we would really benefit from making him an admin here again. His contributions to this project certainly show some need for the few extra tools. He's a lot of experiences here on Meta-Wiki and his knowledge of the project would surely be helpful to all of us. Furthermore, he is one of the longest serving (senior) staff members of the countervandalism project helping on IRC and also helping to maintain and keep the project active. As an active user here at Meta, I have no doubt his use of the tools will be for the benefit of the project, and hope you will all agree. -Barras talk 10:29, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
