Association of Stroopwafel Addicts

(Redirected from ASA)
Uncyclopedia used to have an article about stroopwafels.

Welcome to the Association of Stroopwafel Addicts (ASA). This is an association for people who have tasted a stroopwafel at least *once* and like it very, very, very much. There is no obligation to be Dutch. Documentation on the history of the Stroopwafel in Wikimedia can be found on the official ASA posters.[1][2] You are welcome to print the poster yourself and hang it up in all appropriate places. You may add yourself if you have tasted the taste of heaven, the stroopwafel. Please remember that only DUTCH STROOPWAFELS count!

Members

edit

The following list is a compilation of people who have actually eaten a stroopwafel. Regular consumers and disproportionate addicts are included as well. Those who have not consumed any are not permitted until they do.

These people obviously want to become part of the Association, but have to fulfill the most important requirement: eating a stroopwafel.

  1. Dylan Troop was quoted as saying "Stroopwafels ruined my marriage. I was so addicted i would sneak out of the house at night and run down to the ATM to pull money out just to buy more stroopwafels. Well that was until my bank account went into the red and i couldnt afford to pay my bills. And that wasnt even the most depraved state ive been in. I love stroopwaffels"

Am a continued enthusiast now on Canada's West Coast, promoting the stroopwafel cause to friends, co-workers and MEC members. 29. I like travelling to Wikimedia events. I tell everybody that I like to do it because there I meet my friends, I do interesting things and I can go sightseeing. But all of this is secondary. The main reason is that someone always brings stroopwafels to Wikimedia events. It is for them that I cross continents. PS: don't tell anyone :) --TohaomgTohaomg (talk) 08:57, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  30. So I have not had a stroopwaafel at an in-person Wikimedia event yet. HOWEVER, in coordination with one of the dealers below, was part of a plot to boldly rename a table at Wikimania 2021 in honour of the Association of Stroopwafel Addicts - partaking in virtual stroopwafel fun. A poor alternative delicacy

These people try to stop unhealthy Stroopwafel consumption and showing those addicts the right nutrition path. Like eating lettuce, carrots, apples, and other healthy snacks. Take note however that they are just as easily susceptible to the delicious temptation of a stroopwafel, and may even "confiscate" your prized possessions only to consume it themselves later on.
