Hello Djsasso, and welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). If you would like, feel free to ask me questions on my talk page. Happy editing! --Razorflame 18:07, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Global user pages
editHello Djsasso. You now have user pages on every wiki, as you requested on User:Pathoschild/Scripts/Synchbot. You can see sortable logs of each page edited or skipped at User:Pathoschild/Scripts/Synchbot/Archives/Djsasso. —Pathoschild 05:18, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Candidacy
editHello, DJSasso, I translated your statement and wanted to wish you luck in becoming a steward!
Not a debate
editThis is highly inappropriate. It is not a debate. If you have problems, go to your talk page. Ottava Rima (talk) 17:14, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- It happens in steward elections fairly regularly, and is currently happening in a few in this very election. What wasn't appropriate, was an unsubstantiated personal attack which pretty much says I abuse my permissions. I have absolutely zero problem with you opposing me for any reason you want, saying I am not fit for the role or whatever. But implying that I abuse my powers and cannot be trusted is crossing a line. Never once have I used any permission against the communities wishes. -Djsasso 17:18, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- Djasso, Ottava makes accusations and even files removal process against anyone who might oppose his wishes in any way, he can then claim bias if they act, see Requests for comment/User:Ottava Rima. It's amazing that this has been allowed to continue for so long. He filed Community Reviews, the desysop process on Wikiversity, against all three active 'crats, as well as against me as a sysop (then) who had dared to block him for threatening users that they would be blocked "any time now" for ... expressing opinions contrary to Ottava's ... and then he's come to the Permissions page, three times in the last month, to try to get stewards to remove ops, arguing tendentiously when the requests are declined as obviously improper, with arguments that are preposterous on the face, if anyone actually checks evidence. Then he's attacked the stewards who dared to decline, for example, see the current Permissions discussion. And I'm not going into what he's done on Wikiversity! Wikiversity is very slow to block, and he's been taking full advantage of that. Meta can be fast or slow, it depends on whose toes you step on! From the RfC, you can see that, for Ottava, it's been very slow. And so the nonsense goes on, as you experienced. --Abd 18:15, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- Djsasso, I performed a lot of the archiving work for the Stewards elections last year. I personally moved a lot of debate off the voting pages because it doesn't belong there. You have abused your power quite a bit and your stance on items is poisonous. If you don't like it, then change your approach. Ottava Rima (talk) 18:41, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- Again a baseless accusation. I don't care if you don't like my attitude, but I have never abused my power, not once have I taken an action against the communities wishes. If you can proove I have used my tools against policy then by all means do so. Quite frankly your attitude is more poisonous than mine ever will be. You scare editors away by the handful. Its no wonder you are banned on one wiki, stripped of your admin on another, and currently at an RfC on meta. I think you might have who is who backwards. I am an editor in goodstanding on a couple projects, whereas you appear to be burning your bridges everywhere you go. -Djsasso 18:47, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- Baseless? No. Your attitude above is verification that you have a major attitude problem and the large amount of opposition is proof enough that you are completely unfit. Ottava Rima (talk) 21:23, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- No the baseless was about your suggestion that I abused my tools. -Djsasso 22:56, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Note
editI left a note to another user about that.
- I could see someone accidentally missing it. Through no fault of their own. -Djsasso 19:45, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
Ottava, in fact, is a master at setting up situations where something will be "missed." He knows exactly what he is doing. I recommend, Djsasso, that you join the request at Meta:Requests_for_help_from_a_sysop_or_bureaucrat#Requests_for_comment.2FUser:Ottava_Rima. Had this request received a response earlier, much disruption might have been avoided. (First request was Feb 3, but the RfC had been open since October.) Some people have the idea -- and give the advice -- that if disruption is ignored, it will go away. Sometimes it will. But sometimes it gets worse, and in this case, that was obviously going to happen months ago. --Abd 20:20, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
Change of user page
editHi Djsasso. Just FYI: Katarighe changed your user page without your consent, so I undid his edit. Kind regards, Trijnstel 21:11, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Global bot
edit- This message is being left on your talk page at Meta-Wiki and those of your home wiki(s). Sorry for the duplicates.
Dear global bot operator: Some days ago you received a message in which you were informed that one or various accounts you hold lost a global bot flag because of inactivity. Due to a mistake, messages informing about this were not sent before removal took place as policy mandates. As such, if you think your bot will be active again on global bot duties, you can request the restoration of the global bot flag on the stewards' noticeboard at Meta-Wiki within the next two (2) weeks after this message has been posted. Please note that this removal was purely procedural based on inactivity. If you have any questions, you can reach me on my talk page at Meta-Wiki. Please accept my apologies in advance for this. Best regards. -- MediaWiki message delivery (talk) on behalf of MarcoAurelio at 18:11, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Hello, just a little correction.
editA tiny question for you; The other day I made an article on simplewiki under the title of Marie Gabrielle Éléonore de Bourbon and I noticed a few days after hat you had moved it to Marie Anne Éléonore de Bourbon. This is incorrect. As it clearly states in her article that she signed with the names "Marie Gabrielle Éléonore". I was actually blocked by the wonderfully arrogant and bureaucratic bully User:Chenzw so am not able to discuss the move but I can assure you that she was M G É de Bourbon. Her own signature is also in the infbox on said article. I was actually the person that created her article on enwiki several years ago prior to having seen her signature and just naming her M A É out of ease. So I'd like to politely ask you if you could move it back to the correct (based on her own signature) and therefore more logical name. Obviously I would've messaged you on simplewiki but I've had that ability ripped away from me so this was the next best option. (Also a majority of the articles about her in other languages follow the M G É pattern too). Thanks. 92.24.46.180 21:44, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
The Community Wishlist Survey
editHi,
You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.
You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
