New stewards are elected roughly once per year. Stewards perform technical tasks on all Wikimedia wikis based on community consensus and on the Stewards policy: changing user access, viewing user information in cases of abuse, and so on (see details). For more information on voting, translating, or being a candidate, [[Special:MyLanguage/Stewards/Elections {{{year}}}/Guidelines|read the guidelines]]. You can automatically check your [{{{voter-check-tool}}} eligibility to vote]. Candidate submissions are open from 18 November 2019, 23:07 (UTC) until 18 November 2019, 23:07 (UTC). Questions to the candidates can be submitted until the election concludes. The voting begins on 18 November 2019, 23:07 (UTC) and ends on 18 November 2019, 23:07 (UTC). Candidates must meet the [[Special:MyLanguage/Stewards/Elections {{{year}}}/Guidelines|criteria]] and obtain at least 30 votes in favor with an 80% support ratio. You can track the results with [[Special:MyLanguage/Stewards/Elections {{{year}}}/Statistics|collected statistics]]. The [[Stewards/Confirm/{{{year}}}|confirmation process]] of the current stewards is being held in parallel.

Stewards organise the elections themselves. The Board of Trustees decided in 2009 that they will abstain from confirming the result of new elections. Therefore, stewards create an election committee for every election consisting of volunteers for the following tasks:

• اسٽيو وارڊ جي راءِ شماريءَ جو اختتام;
• چونڊُن جي نتيجن جي تصديق، وِڌل ووٽن جي تصديق کانپوءِ اميدوارن جي اهليت جي توثيق ڪرڻ;
• چونڊيل اميدوارن جي تقرري;
• منتظم داروڳن (اسٽيو وارڊ) صارفين جي توثيق کانپوءِ راءِ شماري جو خاتمو;
• اسٽيو وارڊ صارفين جي توثيق کان پوءِ, برادري ۽ اسٽيورڊن پاران اتفاق راءِ جي جانچ ڪئي ويندي, ۽ پوءِ فيصلو ڪيو ويندو ته ڇا واقعي ئي اُنهن کي پَڪو (توثيق) ڪجي يا نه.
