ویکی‌بُدان جدید تقریباً هر سال یک بار انتخاب می‌شوند. ویکی‌بدان عمدتاً وظایف فنی بر اساس اجماع اجتماع‌های ویکی‌های ویکی‌مدیا طبق سیاست ویکی‌بدان انجام می‌دهند: تغییر دسترسی کاربران، مشاهدهٔ اطلاعات کاربر در موارد سوءاستفاده و غیره (جزئیات را ببینید). برای اطلاعات بیشتر دربارهٔ رأی‌دادن، ترجمه و یا نامزدشدن، راهنما را مطالعه کنید. می‌توانید به‌صورت خودکار [{{{voter-check-tool}}} توانایی رأی دادن] خود را بررسی کنید. ارسال درخواست نامزد شدن از 12 November 2019, 08:09 (UTC) تا 12 November 2019, 08:09 (UTC) مجاز است. تا پیش از پایان رأی‌گیری نیز می‌توان سوال‌های مربوط به نامزد را ارسال کرد. رأی گیری از تاریخ 12 November 2019, 08:09 (UTC) آغاز شده و در تاریخ 12 November 2019, 08:09 (UTC) پایان می‌یابد. نامزدها باید دارای شرایط باشند و باید حداقل ۳۰ رأی موافق و ۸۰٪ کل آرا را کسب نمایند. شما می‌توانید نتایج را در آمار جمع‌آوری‌شده دنبال کنید. روند تایید برای ویکی‌بدها به صورت هم‌زمان در حال اجراست.

هیئت انتخابات

ویکی بدها انتخابات را خودشان اداره می کنند. برد صحت در سال 2009 تصمیم گرفت که از تأیید نتیجۀ انتخابات جدید خودداری کند. بنابراین ویکی بدها برای هر رأی گیری یک هیئت انتخابات ساختند که برای وظایف زیر شامل داوطلبان می شد:

• بستن انتخابات ویکی‌بد;
• تأیید نتیجۀ انتخابات، پس از اینکه آرا cast in all candidatures were verified برای شایستگی;
• نصب نامزدهای برگزیده;
• بستن تأییدات ویکی‌بد;
• پس از تأیید ویکی‌بد, weighing consensus by community and stewards, and then تصمیم می گیرد که آنها را تأیید کند یا نه.

• CandidStart = Day and time when nominations are opened
• CandidEnd = Day and time when nominations are closed
• VotingStart = obvious
• VotingEnd = obvious
