Xaosflux edit

I am pleased to nominate Xaosflux for the oversight role as well. As I mentioned, the local oversight team would benefit from a bit of an expansion to potentially avoid requests not being processed in due time and better coverage of several time zones in this multilingual project (and while things work our currently I think it's better to prevent rather than to lament). As you may know, Xaosflux is an active member of our community, and a local regular administrator. He's also a long-term Wikimedian which holds trusted roles in other wikis such as administrator and bureaucrat at the English Wikipedia. Xaosflux has also sent us in the past requests to have material suppressed, and I think he's aware of the relevant policies that govern the use of the suppression tool. I think Xaosflux will be a good addition to our team and thus I hope you can, too, support this nomination. Thank you, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 21:34, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate acceptance: I'd be happy to serve. I generally check in on metawiki 3-4 times a day doing normal janitorial work like speedy deletions and protected edit requests. I'm familiar with the meta oversight policy and have already completed the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information. — xaosflux Talk 22:06, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
