Part 4: Response Options

Typically, there are two Question Types

Structured (Fixed Response)
Structured responses are used when one has a thorough understanding of the responses and are one is not trying to capture new ideas or thoughts.


Non-Structured (open-ended)
These questions are best used for exploring new ideas or when one is not sure what to expect from respondents.
