You need to make 5 templates for each language as below (with xx being a language code):
- Template:DonationForm-xx - main interface template (used to add localized text the donation forms to create pages such as Fundraising/USD/onetime, Fundraising/USD/monthly, and Fundraising/USD/yearly)
- Template:Creditcards-xx from Creditcards - for discription of available creditcards on Paypal
- Template:DonateHelp-xx from nothing - description of "Send" button and thank for donater.
- Template:DonateOption-xx from nothing - Navigation Yearly - Monthly - Onetime
- Template:DonateOnetime-xx - Attention note for Donate onetime
You do not have to worry about any other templates or pages other than the 5 templates above and the main fundraising page. Each of the other templates are language neutral and can be created by anyone on the foundation wiki.
The only template which is absolutely needed is Template:DonationForm-xx.
To translate:
- Just copy the most recent version of an existing template you wish to translate from #Base templates below (the English versions are usually the most up-to-date).
- Name the new template exactly the same as the one you copied from except replace the two-letter language code with the code of the language you are translating to.
- Replace the text between = and | with the appropriate translation unless it is between {{{}}}.
- Save
