Get involved edit

Wikiesfera is a Wikipedia editing working group that was born in 2015 by the hand of journalist and activist Patricia Horrillo at the municipal cultural center Medialab Prado (Madrid, Spain). One of our goals is to help new editors to get into the world of the Wikimedia movement. We have weekly meetings (we alternate face-to-face at Matadero Madrid with virtual meetings through Zoom) in which we share problems, concerns and news about Wikipedia in Spanish and other movement projects.

If this is your first time taking steps as a Wikipedian, we recommend two ways:

  • come to the working group meetings that are in person (you can check the dates in this link), and the only thing you have to do is bring your laptop (no previous registration is required).
  • also, if you want to be part of this group, we invite you to participate in one of the edit-a-thones that we organize: follow us on our social networks to find out about of upcoming activities.
