[Small wiki toolkits] Upcoming bots & scripts workshop on Thursday, June 30th, 16:00 UTC

Hello, The fifth workshop on the topic of "Hosting bots and scripts on Toolforge" is coming up - it will take place on Thursday, June 30th at 16:00 UTC. You can find more details on the workshop and a link to join here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Small_wiki_toolkits/Workshops#How_to_host_a_bot_on_Toolforge. This workshop will introduce participants to Toolforge, how to create a developer account, access it via ssh, create and run bots and scripts, etc. You can add your discussion ideas in the etherpad doc linked from the workshops page. To participate in this workshop, you would need basic familiarity with using command-line tools and technical knowledge of bots. We look forward to your participation! Hello! The eighth workshop on the topic of "How to interact with Wikidata via Pywikibot" is coming up - it will take place on Friday, October 7th at 16:00 UTC. You can find more details on the workshop and a link to join here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Small_wiki_toolkits/Workshops#How_to_interact_with_Wikidata_via_Pywikibot. This workshop will summarize how to access and save information to Wikidata, including through page generators and queries*, using Pywikibot. It will also cover the Wikidata conventions about the bot editing, including the bot approvals process (*queries not included, please bring your own!). To participate in this workshop, you would need basic familiarity with Wikidata and Pywikibot installation. We look forward to your participation! General Assembly LSP 2024

Dear All, We will be holding our general assembly for 2022 in February 2024 online. If you wish to participate as a member of our user group, you need to be formally a member of our association. There will be another general assembly online for 2023 in June 2024, and we will then have been able to bridge the gap of our late general assemblies.

We are looking for members on our board who have specific competences in budget planning and finances as well as fundraising, as well as strategic planning. If you have these competences please feel free to send us your appplication and motivation letter by mail at info@sans-pages.org.

General Assembly les sans pagEs Feb 7th 2024

Dear members of the user group des sans pagEs,

Our general meeting will take place on 7 February online. As a member of the user group, you can attend this AGM by joining the association here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/134fW1N1yuQfsHURBfr8Moa3eAr3TBTzPoWEXqCCTrkg/viewform?edit_requested=true You will need to pay a membership fee to join the association, and your membership will be validated by the committee as soon as payment is received by bank transfer.

The membership fee is CHF 200 for external members who are not involved in the project. For volunteers who give their time to the project, the price is free according to their means. The indicative fee, based on what is charged by national chapters, varies between 12 euros for France and 50 Swiss francs for Switzerland.
