Great effort edit

I saw your comments on Pathoschild's talk page. Thanks for the improvements to the text via translatewiki, and the extra time that you took to update other text. All contributions are most welcomed. :-)  — billinghurst sDrewth 09:15, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Your response was most helpful. And thank you for changing my user rights! Nataev (talk) 09:22, 17 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Superprotect status edit

Dear Nataev, since you are an administrator on a wiki from which no user participated in this discussion, I'd like to make sure you are aware of some recent events which may alter what the Wikimedia Foundation lets you do on your wiki: Superprotect.

Wikimania 2016: IdeaLab Workshops edit

Wikimania 2016 is almost here! Mjohnson (WMF) and I are running two workshops for IdeaLab during the conference, and you are invited to join us for either (or both!)

If you have a proposal or idea you are thinking about, and would like a space to work on it on your own or with others, please consider joining us for either the Thursday or Saturday sessions. We'll discuss a little about IdeaLab and how it works, and the rest of the time is space for idea building. You can also use this session to ask questions about Wikimedia Foundation grants that are available if your proposal or idea may need funding. Thanks, and see you at the conference! Translation request edit

Hello, I understand you speak the Uzbek language. I was wondering if you can translate "Village in China", "Commune in Morocco", and "village in Indonesia". It is for updating Wikidata. Thanks in advance. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 21:47, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Good day! Yes, I do. Here's how I'd translate them: "Xitoydagi qishloq," "Morokkodagi kommuna", Indoneziyadagi qishloq." If you are going to use these phrases as categories, I'd suggest the following: "Xitoydagi qishloqlar" (villages in China), "Morokko kommunalari" (Communes in Morocco), and "Indoneziya qishloqlari" (villages in Indonesia). Otherwise, use the first variant. Nataev talk 05:14, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Good day! Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Hope all goes well. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 01:04, 20 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to Hubs event: Global Conversation on 2022-03-12 at 13:00 UTC edit

You can find this message translated into additional languages on Meta-wiki.

Hello, please see an invitation from my colleague about an upcoming Global Conversation about Hubs. AAkhmedova (WMF) (talk) 14:03, 9 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Movement Strategy and Governance team of the Wikimedia Foundation would like to invite you to the next event about "Regional and Thematic Hubs". The Wikimedia Movement is in the process of understanding what Regional and Thematic Hubs should be. Our workshop in November was a good start (read the report), but we're not finished yet.

Over the last weeks we conducted about 16 interviews with groups working on establishing a Hub in their context (see Hubs Dialogue). These interviews informed a report that will serve as a foundation for discussion on March 12. The report is planned to be published on March 9.

The event will take place on March 12, 13:00 to 16:00 UTC on Zoom. Interpretation will be provided in French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Portuguese. Registration is open, and will close on March 10. Anyone interested in the topic is invited to join us. More information on the event on Meta-wiki.

Best regards,

Kaarel Vaidla
Movement Strategy

Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2022 submission edit

Dear Nodir,

On behalf of the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2022 programme committee, I am pleased to inform you that your submission "“WikiStipendiya” marathon in Uzbekistan" has been accepted as a lecture. Considering that the conference will have language interpretation from English into Russian and vice versa, you have the choice between English and Russian as a language that you will use in your session. In case you have any additional requests or questions, do not hesitate to contact me or any other committee member.

Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 12:33, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Perfect, thank you, Kiril! I'll probably present in English. Nataev talk 13:01, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
