Climate denial on Indonesian and Malay Wikipedia
editHello! I'm reviewing articles as part of a cross-wiki analysis of climate denial after the BBC discovered that many non-English Wikipedias contain climate denial. Like a lot of languages, the Indonesian and Malay climate change articles are poorly updated, and therefore exaggerate the uncertainty of the human cause of climate change. They get 201 and 132 daily views each. I was wondering if you would be able to have a look and update the articles? Or if you don't have the time, point me towards somebody who might be interested. They both seem to be based on an old translation of enwiki, and maybe a new translation would be beneficial (without losing local sources). Alternatively, I could give a list of the most important needed updates. Femke (talk) 08:39, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Femkemilene: hi, thanks for the message! I do not have sufficient expertise to update the article, and to my knowledge there is no currently active Wikiproject that deal with climate change at both idwiki and mswiki. I'd suggest you to ping folks who made significant changes to the article before (idwiki, mswiki). Best of luck! dwadieff ✉ 04:48, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

The community vote of this year's Board Elections are close. As always voter mails will be sent out. To invite as many community members as possible in their native tongue your help is very much appreciated. While there are already plenty of translations we would appreciate you to check for languages still missing and to contribute translations for these.
The mails are short, just a bit about two times 200 words, a few minutes of work.
Your support is very important as it helps communities to learn about the election and to cast their vote.
Best, Denis Barthel (WMF)
