Hi, there seems to be a problem with the update of the page it:Template:Dati della pandemia di COVID-19 del 2019-2020 by AlbeROBOT. The note 158 is missing. @Nickispeaki: I've checked and the bot is running well. I guess the problem with Ukraine it is because en:Template:COVID-19 pandemic data is not updated too. AlbeROBOT insists on adding duplicated arguments on template

A bug in Ukrainian version

Bot in Greek WP

Hello. I don't know what's wrong but, the bot keeps changing this change which is wrong. I also made another edit yesterday, that was also reverted while there was no need. • The "176 September 2020" was a error on the English Wikipedia. I fixed there.
• The "language=Albanian" was also a error on the English Wikipedia. I also fixed there.
• The error between Brazil and US lines was because, when you removed the source here, you also removed <!-- #bot# -->. This tag is important, so the bot can recognize where the line ends.
• The double-same reference was because the Guam line wasn't set to be updatable. I inserted the bots tag here for Guam, can you do it for the other countries that is still missing?

Thanks for taking the time to check it out and thanks for explaining. I am not familiar with how the bots are working so I couldn't imagine I should go to the English Wikipedia to fix the first too issues. Now I will have it in mind if something similar happens in the future. For the third, I missed completely the bot tag at the end of the reference. If I had seen it I would figure it out. Not all the countries on the table are been updated. In order to work, the country' line needs a tag like <!-- #bot#(Name) -->, so the bot can update it. Template:COVID-19 pandemic data

Hi Alberto! I would like to add in the greek version of the template one more column with the deaths per million, which is of course much more neutral as absolute numbers. Thanks! Super. I think though it would be more neutral, if the first sortable to see were according to name of the state or alike... (and not according to the absolute number of deaths, which is not exactly neutral). Is this also possible? Actually my suggestion was that the first sortable to see would be the relative number of deaths, but I find name more neutral. Hi! Thanks to the Catégorie:Pages avec des arguments non numériques dans formatnum (Pages with non-numeric formatnum arguments) I discovered a bug in the french template that AlbeROBOT is updating.

This kind of instructions are incorrect:

• {{formatnum:{{color|darkgray|–}}}} to be replaced by {{color|darkgray|–}}
• {{formatnum:{{#iferror:<xxxxxxxxx>|{{color|darkgray|–}}}}}}
• "%" must not be included in the formatnum but put just after

Could you please fix those bugs?

Could you please take into account my request? Generating errors is not acceptable and I can see the same problem with the Italian Template:Dati della pandemia di COVID-19.

If you continue ignoring my message I will request to remove your bot flag in the French Wikipedia. And this is really not what I want.

I had put this bug on my "to-do list" but as it is not exactly simple to solve and, despite being an error that should be avoided, the template was still being viewed correctly, i put it in low priority. I've seen your bot doing it's daily rounds on our wiki since we last spoke, but the table still is far from complete: it still has a lot of old dates from May 2020 in it. Ah, got you, I think I was expecting you to do the extra modelling first, but off course it makes more sense to help the bot find it's way first.

• Does this update of the table help?
• I'm not sure in what kind of cases automated updates would not be wished for, but we have two cruise ships in the table that might fall into that category. Because those cases are closed now (people from those ships in the end were allowed to leave the vessels), we might want to move them down the list anyway, so that's where I did not add the bot command.
• If possible I think it would be nice if the bot got visits our wiki twice a day: 6am CET and 6pm CET (which is 4AM UTC and 4pm UTC).

• Great! Everytime the bot runs, it makes a log from the mismatches between wikis, so you can monitor from there. Sometimes there are differences in spellings, and the log records that.
• It's up to you :-)

For the botlog: I tried to fix the link to "Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha", but the bot keeps reporting it as an error. I don't know why? I'm noticing that for some reason the comma used in the number for India (among others) instead of a dot (to define thousands & millions) is not recognized in our table and therefore India is placed far at the bottom when using the sortable function of the column. I asked one of our 'wizards' and he comes up with the following reasoning: "{{wdib|ps=1|P1603|qid=Q84055514|list=p-1}} gives {{wdib|ps=1|P1603|qid=Q84055514|list=p-1}}. @Ciell: Well... it does. I made an adjustment with India and Indonesia, removing the formatnum and the bot tags (since the bot would add again). As these values are pulled from Wikidata, there will be no problems. A biografia não é minha. Eu falei com o pesquisador. Ele disse que agradece minha homenagen mas que não gostou de minha atitude.

Ele disse que o Lattes é o único instrumento que certifica a vida acadêmica de uma pessoa e que a Wiki é apenas um repositório de informações que não confere certificação acadêmica para ninguém. Ele pediu que se eu tivesse publicado algo sobre ele que eu retirasse.

Eu disse que não publiquei porque não pude. Ele foi enfatico que agradece a admiração mas não deseja ter sua vida acadêmica nem seus trabalhos publicados aqui.

Respeita muito a Wiki mas é uma questão pessoal. As pessoas quando quiserem saber sobre os trabalhos de profissionais como ele devem ir em repositórios certificados para fins acadêmicos e não puramente informativos.

• The first error was replicated from the English Wikipedia table. I made the correction directly there.
• The second error occurred due to this change in the template data structure. I made a correction in the bot to reflect this difference, but it is convenient to note that they can make new changes that will require further adjustments.

@Tol: In fact, I've been doing this task on 10 other wikis (list on AlbeROBOT). I'm already authorized on all of them, so we could just use your code with my bot (I'd need help with that, I can't speak python), or you can use your own robot and request approval on these wikis.
