During this 2-day-long edit-a-thon, we saw contributions from 13 Indian language communities— Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Santali, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu (and English). In this event total 98 Wikimedians signed up to create or improve content regarding festivals on different Wikimedia projects. Out of 98 users, 76 editors participated.

Most of the participants created content on Wikipedia and around 230 articles were created. 13 editors from the Assamese community participated and created 59 new articles. The Sanskrit community performed well. They (User: Sayant Mahato and User: Soorya Hebbar) created a local page on Sanskrit Wikipedia for this event and 17 participants created 18 articles in Sanskrit. On Tamil Wikipedia, 4 editors created 21 new articles, only User: Balu1967 created 12 articles. User: Maina Tudu from the Santali community, created 10 articles. On Malayalam Wikipedia, User: Meenakshi Nandini created 13 pages. User:आर्या जोशी created 5 new articles on Marathi Wikipedia. User: Simranjeet Sidhu from Punjabi community, created 14 articles. Gujurati Wikipedian User: Vijay Barot created 11 new articles. User: Salil Kumar Mukherjee created a total of 5 articles on Bengali Wikipedia. User: Hellohappy created 3 articles, one on Odia, Hindi, English Wikipedia, respectively.
On Wikisource, we saw less participation for this time. A few users made edits on it and created some pages or proofread the pages of those books which are related to festivities, directly or indirectly. User: Rajdeep Ghuman pages proofread on Punjabi Wikisource. On Telugu Wikisource, User: GGK1960 created a few pages, around 27 pages. On Wikidata, the edits were mostly related to labels and descriptions improvement. User: Atudu, User: GnOeee, User:Marajozkee contributed to Wikidata during this event.

The editors contributed to Wikimedia Commons well. Editors uploaded files on Commons, beside of it, structure data also added on Wikimedia Commons. User: Alokjain19883105 uploaded 44 pictures or files on Commons. Tamil community User: Sridhar G uploaded 5 files. From Marathi community User:आर्या जोशी uploaded 17 photos and User:ज्ञानदा गद्रे-फडके uploaded 3 files of festivals.

Also, on two more projects volunteers took part. One is Wikiquotes and the other one is LinguaLibre (through it files uploaded on Wikimedia Commons). User: Sridhar G created a page on Wikiquotes about an Indian festival, Diwali. User: Titodutta recorded 442 words on LiguaLibre related to Indian festivities and uploaded on Commons.
