Observations on Turkmen Wikipedia

Hi TrangaBellam. I agree with your conclusions (partially because half of it quotes me :D). I actually became a local sysop on tkwiki exactly a week after the first creation of your sandbox (and I'm not a global sysop). The amount of spam articles we got has significantly decreased over the past few months, but I still delete a few every week, and on several occasions, I came across trash of over a few years old. The machine translating IP is a massive headache. It started in January with a few articles, which I turned into and kept as stubs that were at least somewhat understandable. They, however, decided to continue more to the point that it was too much for me alone (195 created, only 15 remain), so I was sort of forced into blocking the IP for an extended amount of time. The language similarity noted in your sandbox means that I can understand Turkmen without much difficulty, but tbh creating articles is another level, which is why I don't. Hello QRNKS. Do you mean how long the discussion takes? You can find that here, which says it's a week. After a week you can follow the steps at Steward requests/Permissions#Administrator access. A steward will then assign you the rights. ~Styyx^{Talk? ^-^} 20:37, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
