Wikiwalks/London/1
editHi, re Wikiwalks/London/1 - there's a problem with the time zones. You put "15:00 UTC (14:00 GMT) on Sunday April 20th"; unfortunately, that doesn't work out. UTC and GMT are the same; if by "GMT" you meant "BST" - that's two hours off. 15:00 UTC/GMT is 16:00 BST; alternatively, 15:00 BST is 14:00 GMT/UTC. I suspect that you meant the latter; please clarify. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 12:51, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
Hello there
editI see you organised a meetup in East London in March. I work with Wikimedia UK and would like to know if I can offer any support in helping you to organise another meetup or talk to you about any projects you have. We have some grant funding available, so please get in touch if you need any help. My email is john.lubbock@wikimedia.org.uk --Jwslubbock (talk) 09:37, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks John, but no funding is necessary. Leutha (talk) 08:01, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- What's going on with Meetup/East London/7? Seems rather scanty. Like, when is it? --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 23:13, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry about that! I set it up as a placeholder as I want to make the Meetup/East London/8 a fringe event for Mozfest. Do not worry it will be properly populated shortly. Leutha (talk) 08:00, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Do you want us to help publicise it? Do you want us to come along? Please ask us for any help you need to make sure people turn up. I'd really appreciate if you got in contact with us at the office just to let us know what you're planning so we can see if we might help, even just with publicising it. --Jwslubbock (talk) 13:00, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Well it's just a normal meet-up, that's all. Nothing special is planned this month. I would feel a bit uncomfortable if we were to receive extra support in London, while more long-standing meet-ups are not having their needs addressed. If you look at Wikimedians' meet-ups in the UK things seem to have ground to a halt up north. I feel that is a more significant cause for concern. Leutha (talk) 12:59, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Sandbox
editDear Sir / Madam,
I have some text in my "sandbox".
Can somebody please explain to me how to publish it?
I have see the tutorial, but I can see no way to get sandbox content onto the internet. Also the system keeps crashing, and I keep losing my data.
I saw this event today: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Meetup/London/143 , however I've had to travel for family matters, so I can't meet.
It is very difficult to get to a WikiMeetUp event.
How can I contact WikiPedia editors, so that they can explain to me how to get SandBox content uploaded as a web-page?
Yours sincerely,
Hadrian Coulton.
