SUL help requestEdit
Hello sir... I am trying to do an SUL with my username, and I see that there was some sock puppet you blocked a few years ago, which is keeping my SUL from completing :) Could you please unblock the name ( as noted here http://toolserver.org/~vvv/sulutil.php?rights=1&user=Oiseau ) so that I could complete the process? Thanks Sincerely, Oiseau 11:54, 28 August 2009 (UTC) .
- Done. --Gribeco 19:33, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
..Thank you very kindly! ^v^ Oiseau 22:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi Gribeco, I reverted your addition to Oversight/User list as those users have not yet been granted the access. Even though that should only be a matter of time I think it's best to only list those users who currently have access. --Erwin 21:34, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. I found out that they had not been granted access yet after I edited the page. --Gribeco 01:22, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I want to thank you for your help translating the French core messages, we have a few more translations to go... The 2010 Fundraiser is live and has greatly benefited from all the contributions from our translators. Throughout the fundraiser there will continue to be a need for help with translating and localizing messages. Currently, the core messages need to be updated, as there have been recent additions to the request. You can find all translation requests at the translation hub on meta and you can follow the progress of the fundraiser in real time by tracking the fundraiser statistics. Also if you haven't already, you can subscribe to the translators-l mailing list for all new requests and major changes. Many thanks for your help in truly making this a global fundraiser that you can edit.Klyman 18:35, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
I want to thank you for your help translating throughout this year's fundraiser. The fundraiser has greatly benefited from all your contributions. Currently, the Kartika, Liliaroja, Abbas and Joan Gomà appeals need to be translated, as we are running appeals from editors. You can find all translation requests at the translation hub on meta and you can follow the progress of the fundraiser in real time by tracking the fundraiser statistics. It is important to check the Core Messages as many languages still need updating. Also if you haven't already, you can subscribe to the translators-l mailing list for all new requests and major changes. Many thanks for your help in truly making this a global fundraiser that you can edit.Klyman 19:27, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Translator, We need you!Edit
You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.
Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.
If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.
J'ai fini les traductions demandées, elles ne demandent qu'une relecture, et comme tu es inscrit comme traducteur, je t'y invite... http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2011/Translation verdy_p 12:20, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!Edit
Hi! I just want to thank you and give you this barnstar for your help with the translation of the 2011 fundraiser! The fundraiser was the best we ever had, both in terms of the amount we collected and in terms of number of translations. We couldn't have done either one without the help we got from you and other translators. If you are interested, we made a report, which has some statistics about the translations.
And: I have one more request, and that is that you take this survey. You may have got an e-mail about it, and if you did, please ignore this. But if you didn't it would be great if you would take this survey too, so we can learn to improve the translation experience.
Again, thanks for your help with translations – you're awesome! Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 13:29, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Rollback to SalebotEdit
Hi, Gribeco. If you want that Salebot be flagged as a rollback on pt.wiki I can help you to create the request. As I can understand, there will be no change on its work, so I think nobody would oppose. I could give you the flag without request, but as it is an unprecedented change, we better place a request for transparency. Tell me if you need any help. Regards.” Teles (T @ L C S) 13:54, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. I had not noticed that the rollback right was grantable on ptwiki before I started my permissions request here. I feel more comfortable testing this on frwiki, so let's wait until that path is clear of blocked. --Gribeco 19:20, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Wikimedia Travel Guide: Naming poll openEdit
You are receiving this message because you voiced your opinion at the Request for Comment on the Wikimedia Travel Guide.
The proposed naming poll opened a few days ago and you can vote for as many of the proposed names as you wish, if you are eligible. Please see Travel Guide/Naming Process for full details on voting eligibility and how the final name will be selected. Voting will last for 14 days, and will terminate on 16 October at 06:59:59 UTC.
Fundraising translation feedbackEdit
I wanted to ask for your help. As you may be aware we have been running banners on many language wikis. We have a lot of new content this year and I really want to conduct a thorough review of our translations. This is a combination of feedback from the community, readers, donors as well as those with professional translator experience. This will help us ensure the highest quality of translations used in our messaging.
To help us out with this I wonder if you would be willing to give us feedback in french using This Link
Simply follow the simple instructions on that page and if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page.
As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.
An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.
The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that OTRS volunteers sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have been identified as an OTRS volunteer and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy. If you do not sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015, you will lose your OTRS access. OTRS volunteers have a specific agreement available, if you have recently signed the general confidentiality agreement for another role (such as CheckUser or Oversight), you do not need to sign the general agreement again, but you will still need to sign the OTRS agreement.
Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign
If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum wikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain your OTRS access. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.

Email about open proxiesEdit
Hi Gribeco, I'm Trevor, a product manager at the Wikimedia Foundation. I sent you an email regarding ProxyBot and how my team is considering building a bot/tool that globally blocks open proxies. You've been thinking about open proxies a lot longer than we have, so we'd love to get your thoughts on what opportunities we should pursue.
Please let me know if the email did not go through. Thank you!
