Thank you for participation in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022!
editDear participant!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for participating in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022! We are grateful for your willingness to share free knowledge about the people and culture of Ukraine when it is needed the most.
As promised, the organizers want to appreciate your contribution by awarding you a certificate of participation. Please wait for further notifications from me on that issue.
What comes to prizes: because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there could be delays in shipping, however, we will definitely get back soon with more information on that.
Take care and stay safe.-- ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 09:18, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Prix Versailles
editI have posted a message about Prix Versailles, whose article had been translated into 16 Wikipedias by single purpose editors, at Talk:Wikiproject:Antispam#Prix Versailles 2022. The Indonesian article is id:Prix Versailles. Eight Wikipedias deleted the museum's article as non-notable in 2021, but obviously that is a decision for each Wikipedia to make independently. Would you be interested in taking a look? TSventon (talk) 08:07, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- @TSventon Hi, I will take a look at this, I will get back to you soon. --*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page ♮ 10:32, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, I posted at id:Pembicaraan Wikipedia:Kedutaan#Cross Wikipedia promotion and sock puppets for Prix Versailles last year, but I did not get a response. TSventon (talk) 10:58, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- If possible, could you also look at Purple economy id:Ekonomi ungu and Cultural footprint id:Jejak budaya, which were created by the same group of single purpose editors? TSventon (talk) 09:20, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- @TSventon Hi, I have opened a deletion discussion for the main article. I had suspected that they are machine translations, but neither Google Translate, Deepl, nor Bing give the exact text of the idwiki article. Idwiki has a CSD criteria which permits speedy deletion of bad machine translations but as far as I can tell, these aren't bad translations. In addition, the articles are too old to warrant speedy deletion in my opinion. I don't see anything immediately problematic with the purple economy and cultural footprint articles. Best, --*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page ♮ 10:46, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- I probably should explain the background better. id:Prix Versailles, Purple economy id:Ekonomi ungu and Cultural footprint id:Jejak budaya are projects promoted by a French organisation called Diversum. Articles were written on 16 Wikipedias by a group of at least 15 single purpose accounts, which suggests paid editing. They were identified as sockpuppets and globally locked in 2021. Each account only edited in a few languages so probably they did not have to use machine translation. The editors on id Wikipedia were id:Pengguna:Satynath, who edited on all three topics and id:Pengguna:Kerbau2016, who only edited Purple economy and Cultural footprint. The articles were all deleted as non-notable in en Wikipedia, see en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prix Versailles and en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Purple economy. The id articles on purple economy and cultural footprint don't seem to have any independent references. The two references to Le Monde are to manifestos signed by Jérôme Gouadain, founding general secretary of Diversum. TSventon (talk) 13:55, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- @TSventon Hello, sorry I forgot to reply to this one. Prix Versailles has been deleted. I'll look more into purple economy. --*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page ♮ 12:54, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your help. It is difficult to communicate with a Wikipedia if you don't speak the language. TSventon (talk) 17:20, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Please read before waving away.
editAboutone of your requests,
Hello Fehufanga. You made a request a while ago on Steward requests/Global for @Sonnyboy1290 to be locked along with his "self admitted sock." Now for the context: This is a school device that Multiple people use, and quite a few of them use wikipedia. I actually know Sonny in real life, and I'm not asking for him to be unlocked, this is just an FYI. BTW, I doubt that the second account you tagged will be blocked, since They left wikipedia a while ago due to lack of motivation. The activity on their main account is a result of the account being compromised. I'm not sure what their end-game is, (The hacker, or vandalizer, or whatever) or why they have beef with the users who made accounts on this device or the admins blocking them. I guess they just want to see the world burn. The Wikipedia world. And, like I told the last person, I used to be a vandal along with some other kids on this device, because, "haha funny block message" but It ended up getting old really fast, so sorry for any headaches or what ever crap I or anyone else caused. I already know this is a lot, and you may not believe me because of things like WP:LITTLE BROTHER. Hell, I'm probably wasting my time right now because I doubt this will be read. If you do read this, you can do what you want with this information. Have a good rest of your day/night. 104.235.53.19 03:27, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

xwiki blowback from ltas?
editHi. If you are getting xwiki blockback from the LTAs for your antivandalism role, especially at the little wikis where you do not edit, then please let me know. We have a filter that offers protection for you akin to page protection. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:02, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
