Comment on SRGPEdit
Hi Svartava, I don't think you intended it to be but this comment came across as unfriendly to me. Bolding "zero" and using the term "negligible" was unnecessary. In these situations where people don't have enough experience, it is best to explain how global rollback wants extensive crosswiki experience and thank them for their work so far, to encourage them to continue in the future. Many people misunderstand when it is appropriate to apply for global rollback, including many active members of the SWMT and people who are global rollbackers today, and appreciating what they've done and explaining what to do in future is the best thing to do in these situations. Thanks, :) --Ferien (talk) 15:37, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Ferien: Hi, sorry if it came across that way but I absolutely didn't mean to be unfriendly. I just wanted to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy by keeping that request open. Had they had more edits and experience (crosswiki or not) or at least some crosswiki experience (which was just 1 wiki where they had a few reverts), I would likely not have said it the way I did but to be honest here, I did not see any chance for even one support. Thanks for the advice, and my apologies for the comment. :) —Svārtava (t/u) • 16:09, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
Disagree on rollbackEdit
As a Thai people in Thai Wikimedia discord server, I guaranteed that in this sever "Authentication required for sending messages in some channels" references is in th:วิกิพีเดีย:ดิสคอร์ด in Thai language so I disagreed on your rollback that reverted my edit.
- @MayThe2nd: Hi. apologies, that was accidental (and I didn't get a conformation for some reason, despite being on mobile). I have reverted the rollback now. —Svārtava (t/u) • 07:24, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
