I received your email. There is no reason to keep it private so I will reply here. You said you are trying an unblock process on enwp, and was contributing here and on wikivoyage via an IP. Just to make it clear, I had only blocked it locally, i.e. you will not be able to contribute to meta. In addition, the block is set for anon-users only. There is however, a global block in place as you continued your disruption from enwp until here via the same IP address. That is what that caused you unable to edit. In your email you asked me to contact either Praxidicae for background, I did and there is nothing that changes my assessment of the situation after the contact. You also asked me to contact SQL which for this case I don't think there is a need. For your privacy, I won't disclose your IP here, but if there is a need I will do so privately with the users you mentioned. I think what you had to do was to leave the movement for a while, your edits here and elsewhere under IP are disruptive enough to warrant a global block, hence, it's unconvincing for those to be seen as favorable to warrant an unblock. Your conduct here don't come across as a new user as it's very hard for me to believe a new user would have found SRGP and vote on very advance permissions, hence, I investigated further. On enwp, you had been sanctioned for multiple issues. Now I know the issues isn't just with the IP, but also with your account. And yes, sockpuppetry is a policy here to be clear. @Camouflaged Mirage: What disruption did I cause with my IP address on Meta? The only thing I did was vote on Steward requests/Global permissions which you yourself said there was no policy against. The only other site which I used my IP address on is Wikivoyage, where I also made no negative edits. Can you please point out which edit(s) you are talking about here? @Camouflaged Mirage: I found SR:GP through Wikivoyage, a user left a message on Wikivoyage admin ThunderingTyphoons! talk page about the IPBE request. Check his talk page for proof, I am friend s with ThunderingTyphoons. And what I did on Wikipedia doesn’t require a global block, as I didn’t break any policies outside of Wikipedia. @Camouflaged Mirage and SQL: I did nothing wrong on Meta-Wiki or Wikivoyage with my IP address or my account. I made a few mistakes on Wikipedia, and I acknowledge that. However I was blocked on Wikipedia and it is being handled there. Furthermore, if I am unable to edit other Wikimedia projects, I cannot get unblocked via the Standard offer route, and I cannot use the 2nd chance route since my TPA access was revoked due to this global block. I had seen your enwp talk page conversations, it seemed centered on editing using IP address, logged out editing, and other behavioural issues. These logged out editing continued here. While I will not term those as straight disruptive, it's not ideal at the very least. When I said on your IP talkpage we allow anon votes, it is due to SRGP not being a vote and anyone can participate. We also have very productive IP editors who doesn't wish to create an account, hence, they can continue to be participating here via IP. However, this doesn't seem to be the case here. We tend to evaluate votes based on strength of arguments for / against. In addition, who made those votes are important in determing the outcome, as those who have good crosswiki record will have more weight, by voting as an IP at SRGP isn't ideal in this backdrop. SRG and my talkpage edits

Under foundation privacy policy there is this: "Any information you post publicly on the Wikimedia Sites is just that – public. ... And if you edit without registering or logging into your account, your IP address will be seen publicly." For the SQL talkpage barnstar, I went the extra mile to remove the IP address as I believe you inevitably logged out edit. However, on SRG and my talkpage it's another matter altogether. These are made in part of your block appeal and they must stay. In addition, you had claimed you must use the IP to edit here as well as the enwikivoyage. Basically you can choose, either stick with an account or use IPs. In addition, I gave you additional leeway to appeal the IP block using your account, and while your IP is being blocked I given you the leeway to continue using your account to post in multiple pages here. I hope you understand a few things. (1) Based on the IP you left on SQL talkpage, and the /64 range, I seen you use the 82.XX IP as well as that ip range on SRGP voting, this is clearly using different IP ranges / addresses on a project page which is clearly socking. Hence, I will caution you against it. This by itself is abusing multiple IP addresses. (2) Please do not remove other users comments, like what you did on SRG. (3) In future, please consider very carefully whether to use IPs or accounts. If you use IPs and get blocked, future admins won't be that obliged to take appeals from your current account but require the appeal to be done via IPs and you cannot use your accounts to justify the IP behaviour. Neither can you claim at times there is very urgent need to unblock your IPs while in the same place, you can actually use your account but just you don't wish to do so.
