Chihonglee
Welcome to Meta!
editHello, Chihonglee. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Happy editing!

Your RfA
editHello Chihonglee. I've closed your RfA as unsuccessful because, to request adminship at meta, you need to be first and administrator at a Wikimedia content project, such as Wikipedia, Wikibooks, etc. You currently are not one, so you are not eligible. I must say too that we appreciate your translation efforts, but for translating you don't need any kind of adminship because everybody can translate. Best regards, — MA (audiencia) 12:55, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Questions for FDC candidates
editHi :-) thank you for putting yourself forward for the FDC. I want to draw your attention to the list of questions that people can answer to help the Board of Trustees learn more about the people volunteering for the committee. [1] Look forward to seeing your answers. Sydney Poore/--FloNight (talk) 21:30, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Invitation to developer access and tech chats
editHi! I saw that you're interested in the technical side of Wikimedia sites, and I wanted to invite you to get developer access (to submit changes to MediaWiki and to Wikimedia site configuration, and to use the sandbox space of Wikimedia Labs). You're also invited to watch and participate in our live tech chats, which include video streaming. The next one is in two weeks and you'll be able to watch, live, via screensharing, as a developer fixes a bug, including investigation, a git commit, getting it reviewed and merged, and closing the Bugzilla ticket.
Hope this is of interest! Best wishes, Sharihareswara (WMF) (talk) 22:19, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
Your candidature to Steward
editHello Chihonglee,
I have removed your candidature from the Steward elections and Meta-wiki as it was submitted after the deadline. I would also like to note, as you have never held adminship on any Wikimedia wiki, you would have been ineligible anyway. In relation to your nomination statement, I'd like also to let you know that Stewards do not generally deal with children or children-related issue, rather we handle some of the technical functions necessary for a smooth operation of the Wikimedia community and its wikis, like assigning userrights or performing checks on users. Snowolf How can I help? 12:42, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Rights requests
editIn the past few days you have filed many requests at beta.wikiversity, for steward, for global rollbacker, mediawiki, and en.wikivoyage. Please stop doing so, as you do not have the experience necessary for any of these roles. Please stop applying for rights that you do not understand, as by doing so it will make it very unlikely that you will ever get any of them. Thank you. --Rschen7754 04:34, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Your comments are invited on four current FDC proposals
editHello! As you may know, we've opened the community review period for the current funding round in the Funds Dissemination Committee process. I noticed that in the past you expressed interest in the FDC, since you were a nominee for the committee. I'd like to invite you to review the 4 proposals (totaling $1.3 million USD) that were submitted to the FDC, and to ask questions and share comments about those proposals. You can help to ensure that they have high potential for impact regarding the movement's goals. The FDC especially values comments by community members and will take them into account when they prepare their recommendations. Let me know if you have any questions! --Katy Love, Senior Program Officer, Funds Dissemination Committee, Wikimedia Foundation, 22:36, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Hello Chihonglee. I just finished handling your request for global user pages, and archived the request & bot log. :) —Pathoschild 21:08, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
Global CSS/JS migration
editHello Chihonglee. You have a global.js page which contains your global scripts for all wikis. Since August 19th, your global.js and global.css pages are loaded automatically on all wikis (see announcement). Since you already load them yourself on some wikis, you may experience script errors or issues like tools being added twice. I can fix that for you by merging your local scripts and styles into your global pages, and deleting the local pages with synchbot. Do you want me to do that? —Pathoschild 23:42, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hi again! Feel free to add a Synchbot request or leave a message if you want me to do this; for now I'll strike you off the list. :) —Pathoschild 21:22, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
