You may consider asking for a rapid grant from the Wikimedia Foundation to fund the local prizes.

WPWPCampaign hashtag

We want to ensure that tracking of metrics is easy and flexible for all the participating communities. We will be using a single hashtag to track metrics for the WPWP Campaign in July; the general hashtag (#WPWP). Please, remind the participants from your community to add the hashtag #WPWP to edits summaries of articles improved with photos.

The hashtag tool would track the following metrics:

1. Total number of articles improved with photos
2. The list of articles improved with photos
3. The total number of participants from your community
4. Ranking of users in descending order of contributions
5. The total number of language Wikipedia improved

WPWPCampaign hashtag for participating communities

Some participating communities have a separate hashtag in addition to the general hashtag (#WPWP) for tracking metrics. You can track the progress of the campaign in your community during and after the campaign if you have a separate hashtag, and participants from your community are adding the hashtag to edit summaries of articles improved with photos.
