Hello, Trade. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Also worthwhile acquainting yourself with the functions of global user pages. Happy editing!

Problem user / egotistEdit

I have added the identified problem user's typical names into special:abusefilter/46 which tracks our egotists. You should at least be able to track the log to see whichever of our egotists is at work.  — billinghurst sDrewth 01:24, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

LGBT studies on EN =/= research for practical WikiProjects with SimpleEdit

Hi! I appreciate your effort to communicate in good faith, but I think you did not understand what I was interested in from my personal research on Simple. It was not study of LGBT content gap or participation gap, but much more more practical test if WikiProject is friendly enough to minority content. Ideally it could have been good to use Simple Wikipedia as translation proxy between languages, but number of native speakers there controlling the project and centering their perspective is far from ideal. BTW I am part of LGBT+ UG and would otherwise contribute also to other studies, this was just something were direct pragmatic, that needed to be resolved now before WM CEE Spring translation campaign starts. Hence disappointment on my side ;-) Best -- Zblace (talk) 00:34, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
