Wikipedia Pages Wanting Pictures Contest in Nigeria
edit
Wikipedia Pages Wanting Pictures Contest in Nigeria is annual campaign where Wikipedians in Nigeria add photos to articles lacking images. This is to promote the use of digital media files collected from various WP photography contests, organized by the Wikimedia community, on Wikipedia article pages. Photos improve readers experience, illustrate content, and make articles engaging. The campaign would also help sharpen the skills of new and existing editors.

editDear Oby,
Thank you very much for submitting your candidacy to be part of the Project Grants Committee for the Community Organizing round. We are so pleased that you are interested in participating in this process.
As a next step, we would like to invite you to join an orientation session for prospective candidates so we can get to know each other a little more, provide you with a greater understanding of the work involved, and we can answer any questions you may have. We have sent a doodle poll to the email address we have on record for you in order to help us schedule these meetings.
If you did not receive the doodle poll by email, could you please email us at projectgrants wikimedia · org and provide us with a better email address for us to contact you? The one we have may no longer be valid.
Again, thank you for your willingness to contribute with your expertise and experience.

"Wiki For Senior CItizens" (Education/News/August 2022)
editHello, Mr.Oby_Ezeilo, I hope everything is fine with you.
Now, I enjoyed reading your report on "Wiki For Senior CItizens" on Ecucation News, August 2022 issue. May I introduce myself, a translator for that newsletter.
Congratulations to your great report on a successful event. As being another retiree myself, it encourages me so much. Your participants will continue their work as a member of the society. They will invest their important experience they built till before the retirement. That is the same motive I volunteer as newsletter translator.
Now, let me patch up the output of your report: can you look at the latest version, where it looks slightly different? Just that photos have captions, which is tacked away on mobile devices, and you read them by tapping on them, no worry. If I made erroneous captions, kindly forgive me, I will mend with your advice.
Please keep up your great project(s). I am dreaming that retirees in many countries will have a great facilitator like you! You know, it's always refreshing to work with people young at heart. Cheers, --Omotecho (talk) 05:53, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
Hello @Omotecho Thank you for your Kind Words of encouragement. Nice to know you are a senior citizen. Which of the Languges do you translate to? I translate into Igbo Language. Maybe we can chat better with mail (oby.ezeilo@gmail.com). I have a lot of ideas I want to share with the Senior Citizens but I need a Senior Citizens perspective. Thank you once again. Beside I am a She (Mrs)Oby Ezeilo (talk) 22:30, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Mrs.Oby Ezeilo, kindly forgive me my shortsightedness misspelling a Mr. I am an English-Japanese/Japanese English translator. Please feel casual to contact me omotechomw@gmail, there are very few editathons in my locality. Best, --Omotecho (talk) 00:17, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
Africa Environment Dashboard
editI know you created your dashboard for the project, but you have not yet attached the dashboard to the general campaign. Normally, Clementine asked you to do that; but it seems it is not making any difference. Could you please attached it ?
This is yours : https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Wiki_For_Senior_Citizens_Network/Wiki_For_Senior_Citizens_African_Enivironment_Edit_a_thon It is currently attached to the campaign : "medicine - miscellaneous »
Which is REALLY unrelated to the topic at hand. It should be attached to "Africa Environment ». See for example this dashboard : https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/Wikimédia_Guinée_Conakry/Africa_Environment_Guinée
If you still do not see how to do it, please add me as a facilitator so that I can do it for you. Thanks Anthere (talk) 17:35, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thankyou so much for Lending a helping hand . I will be glad to add you.--Oby Ezeilo (talk) 19:18, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
