Superprotect status
editDear Nk, since you are an administrator on a wiki from which no user participated in this discussion, I'd like to make sure you are aware of some recent events which may alter what the Wikimedia Foundation lets you do on your wiki: Superprotect.

editHello, I hope I am not bothering you. I just want to inform you about a the flag of GR here on meta. After the SUL finalization there is a search for additional Global renamers. Maybe you already knew that.
As I did with other users with knowledge of "minor"/"uncommon" languages, I am contacting you because at the moment in Global_renamers#Users_with_global_rename_access and Stewards#List_of_current_stewards, if I correctly remember, noone is bg>3. There is one bg-2 polyglot but that's it. It is a pity that we have nobody to help bg-N users with their requests. I think that with your en-3 knowledge, your cross-wiki experience and your local activity as a bureaucrat you could be a good candidate.
If you want to be more involved in the future, feel free to apply. We have accepted in the previous months candidates with much lower cross-wiki activity or more limited language skills than you, so you probably have good chance. Global renamer flags have been given to users without direct experience with user "issues".
Please notice that I am not a very expert user on meta nor a local bureaucrat, I just care about the "variety" of the meta environment and I though that it was useful to inform some users of the opportunity.
If you know similar profiles (bg-N sysops/bureaucrats/OTRS members...) who might be interested, please let them know this "opportunity".
If you are not interested, it would be great if you can help with the translation of the meta pages regarding SUL: Global renamers for example does not exist in Bulgarian yet.--Alexmar983 (talk) 09:51, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Over-qualified CSS selectors
editMy apologies that this message is just available in English.
Over-qualified CSS selectors of portals in Wikimedia skins have been changed. div#p-personal, div#p-navigation, div#p-interaction, div#p-tb, div#p-lang, div#p-namespaces or div#p-variants are now all removed of the div qualifier, as in for example it is #p-personal, #p-navigation …. This is so the skins can use HTML5 elements. Your gadgets or user styles seem to use them and you will have to update them. You can read more in phab:T252467. The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!

In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
