pronunciation of your name edit

Hi,

I am going to check and update Translation_requests/WMF/Board_of_Trustees/ja. Could you please check your entry on a pronunciation table and put self-checked in the checked column?--NJT 11:07, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Suggestions for changes in the WMF privacy policy. edit

Dear Mr Snow, I would like to draw your attention to some suggestions for changes in the WMF privacy policy posted that I posted today at the WMF site: [1]. Since the WMF Board of Trustees actually decides on any changes in the privacy policy, I hope that you, as a Board member, will take a look at these suggestions. The main gist of the suggested changes is to require some form of notification of those registered users whose identifying info is being sought by subpoenas in third-party lawsuits. These suggestions are motivated in large part by a discussion that took place in January 2008 at the Wikipedia Village Pump (Policy) page [2] in relation to an incident where identifying IP data of sixteen Wikipedia users was released in response to such a subpoena. Of course, anyone else reading this is also welcome to participate in the discussion on this proposal. Regards, Nsk92 21:33, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would like status edit

I was given the status of template? WHat happened to that? Are we doing the same again? I want to know if I will be part of this and if I will be respected. THat means that if you give me template status, you do not take it away on a whim. I am a sponsor, and decided to continue to be a sponsor of wiki. Because wiki is not perfect and no one is, and so we all grow.

I would like to be a trustee. I think I can handle the position. Please consider it. If you make me simply a common person on Wiki, when that is not what was offered before, I find that to be playing around.

I am willing to give my time, and ideas. Even maybe do your side wiki, although I am no ones side kick. In prison, we joked about that, playing spades, me and Luke, each saying the other was the sidekick (psychic) just to mess with people because we won alot. THere was no psychic ability. Just an ability to read your partner well.

Let me know what you want to do, I am not acceping the User status. You offered me greater position as template, and now, if you take advantage of my memory problems, then that is just wrong. Because I forgot the login, and had to erase the other computer because it became a mess.

Your call Mike. In fact, there is an airport by me Republic AIrport, in Farmingdale. I took pilots lessons at one time, can learn again. But why not fly out here and we go for lunch?

I am not too sure about monetization issues. It may cause me to hit the law books, even go to my alumni and ask about all this. THere surely is a way to keep it kosher, like if there is charitable cause, and global resource is itself charitable.

When we develop a rapport, I may or may not be willing to be more open and personable with you.
